Yeah, I just got the #1 stain remover.
Was impressed with my boy, he's usually quite vocal and anxious the moment we leave or walk away from him and he can't see. I had him sitting and told to wait and I walked in the doors closed and I heard nothing from him. When I came out he was just sitting there slight whincing. It was good. He's maturing. that was a big boy step today.

So, I was walking in the kitchen earlier today and my foot did one of it's tricks. I took a step, the same as every other step I've ever taken, and I got what feels like a sprained ankle and foot.

 

I randomly have a sore toe for some reason. =\ started yesterday, like the knuckle is bruised. My big toe on the left.

 

I hope it's not Gout, Irmi.

 

No I don't think so, it does feel bruising now that I squish it. I just can't remember where I had done it. Gets like that running around with no shoes on hehe.

 

Just in case, cranberry juice is supposed to be really good for gout, as it is for kidney problems. We usually keep a bottle of cranberry juice.

Ya know, even though I think dog shows are just great, a part of me wonders about how much pressure or whatever it puts on the animal. Your boy (dog) sounds like such a good boy, it makes me sad to think he might be scolded for just being himself...or something stupid like that.

I would like to be the person-running-around-the-ring with the contesting dogs...but not necessarily running my own dog. However, if anybody ran my dog in a ring, it would be me. (I think )

 

A lot of pressure is put on the dog that's for sure. In many cases with big names breeders, if the dog doesn't make show quality it'll get the green needle aka put down. I also wonder that they get the dogs at such a young age to pull and lead, not too sure what damage it does to their growing bodies. It's a reason I stopped after my first show.

 

I'm so sore from a week off of no exercise and then two sessions in 24hrs getting back into it. Only couple weeks before trip now, got to get my body in ultimate shape before an all out American diet. My gosh, all these hotdogs I'm going to consume. Nom nom.

 

just don't use the cranberry juice for the shirt and the dawn for the gout

My best friend since high school called and told me she was coming for a visit. I'm thrilled. I haven't seen her in a long time. But, why didn't she come when the farm was alive and full of love and laughter?

I'm going to have to put on a pretenda-smile and go thru the motions of being alive. Climb up out of hell.. AND clean this house that I've neglected all these weeks. AND get the mowing and weed eating up to speed. AND try to lose another ten pounds before she gets here. Not that she'll care about any of this but I'd like to have a happy visit.

Heartbreak is so boring as a spectator sport. She'll likely need popcorn.

 

Sorry about your grown son causing some anxiety, Aeri. Mine calls me for advice all the time. He never takes the advice.. but at least he calls and asks.
