My sister had to put a noise collar on one of her special ed students. The kid likes to run away so it's the same idea as a shock collar. If he gets too far away the noise starts. Apparently now he is afraid to open doors without double checking. I feel kinda bad for him but the plan is working.

I wouldn't mind maybe a .222 which I'll be looking into when I get back from the states. Something more powerful than the .22 but something that won't blow my shoulder out either.

 

I like knowing my son has several guns...just as I like knowing that if we needed one, he'd bring me one. Its been years since I've shot, and I need to get some practice in.

In several weeks, he is supposed to take me to the shooting range he shoots at...which is really his best friend's father-in-law's back yard.

 

I was target shooting on Sunday. testing my new contact lenses out. Just knocking over cans and plastic plant pots on the farm.

I will be getting my bow out this week for some archery too.

I love my new eyes. They're fantastic.

I have $48 let on my iTunes and I still don't know what I want to buy. $17 is for a release a touch later. I've got two CDs I want but I also want the physical versions so I don't want to waste I tunes money. Another cd is like $17 for 8 tracks just not worth it to me.
Shits all sorts of fucked though. Should be like $7 for an album with no artworks or lyrics or case or anything cool. Full price for MP3.

 

I'm half tempted to purchase the new Leaves Eyes cd actually. I adore all their stuff, plus one of the missus' better groups. I just don't know though. There's also Cattle Decaptiation and Decapitated albums I wanted to try.

 

When you younguns start talking music and Decapitated (or any form of that word) is in the title OR group name, I for sure feel my age.

I'm still coughing my head off and didn't go to the doc today as planned...so I'll go tomorrow. Yeah its gone on long enough now.

I'm also starving, so I know I'm feeling better...but there is nothing much to eat in this house unless you're interested in green beans or pintos. which I'm not gad

 

I think band names are getting worse and worse lol. It's all in good fun for me though, I don't take it at all serious.

 

My mum would laugh and laugh and laugh when she asked which band we were seeing live this week. "Rake Sodomy". Oh my, how thoughtful she'd say. Then tell all her friends to ask me who we would see. :d

 

I used to work with a woman (when I worked for the state) and she had a twin.

They were in water-skiing competitions. Something happened with the twin I didn't know...as she was competing one afternoon she got off course, but not much - ENOUGH though...because she was skiing along one minute and the next minute she was a little wonky off course and BAM - she was decapitated. There was a fishing line strung tight (I think I remember that it was heavy gauge fishing line) just outside the skiing course that nobody ever knew what it was doing there, when it was placed there, nothing.

The other twin (that I knew) had a skiing accident and wound up as a paraplegic.

ok...that's enough dark stuff...that decapitated word got stuck in my head and wouldn't get out until I vomited out that story.

 

Im pretty sure amazons isnt that much. Apple overcharges everything.

My friend wanted me to come over this fall to shoot pumpkins.

My fave band name is "they will know us from the trail of dead....." the full name is just too long for me to remember.

 

There are some metal bands that have unmetal names.

Like Job For a Cowboy or Lamb of God. You are not thinking mosh pit when you hear those names.
