NASCAR is so boring to me. Like half-ass racing. I prefer stuff like touring cars and formula 1 where you actuly have to know a course that changes and turn both right and left. NASCAR is dangerous because they pack so many cars on the track but it doesn't really take skill in the same way. In my opinion at least.

 

tires and teammates. kb hasnt won in a while, let him have the rubbing race after tears skis hood off.. hahaha

 

martinville is packed. thats the kinda racing I likes. lots of rubbing bumping grinding. talladega like a car can get airborne , not so much martinsville.

 

Pfff formula one, where if you lead the first lap you win the race and only 4'cars can win. Booooring.
And I think the host of open wheel racers that have attempted to make it into NASCAR only to walk away with their tail between their legs goes to show the skill involved.
Nascar is basically like.. Getting a car that's too heavy and too powerful for its own good to fly around a circuit that it doesn't want to stick to but forcing it to do the impossible for 4 hrs.
All other forms of racing are purpose built race cars that stop when you want them too, go, turn etc. NASCAR not so much at all xD
I go to a lot of Motorsport here but I'd love to see a NASCAR race.

Last year in formula one there was 617 recorded passes throughout the entire season.
In the first NASCAR race this year there were over 3700 passes, and they'd only calculated at the start finish line.

Honestly, 60% probably more.. Of F1 races are decided on the first corner.. 7 seconds into the race. That's not fun to watch, believe me.

We have a European NASCAR sanctioned class now but I haven't seen them in person yet. I've watched them the last couple of seasons on tv. They're alright, they look like older COT chassis back from 5 years ago hehe.

One of the biggest problems I have with European racing is the officiating and rules. If you touch someone it's a penalty. In the NASCAR class they let the racers have at it and they're banging around and the fans over here are loving that style of racing, they've never seen it before.

In Europe it probably doesn't have the same stereotype. Over here NASCAR is for redneck republicans, just not the type of people I relate to. But is is true F1 does not have allot of passes and the team that spends the most wins. Did you ever see the Top Gear on NASCAR?

Oh NASCAR has a bad rep here too and Australia. "Just go around circles.." It's one of those things I like to call - you look but you don't see.. What's actually happening.
I've heard about the top gear show but I've never even seen an episode.
I like motor racing, don't know a thing about cars, not interested in civilian vehicles. =p
