On the other side of winter we are busting out shorts with such a forecast. I find it interesting how we become so comfortably acclimated to being warm.

Got a landscaper's measuring wheel today at ReStore so I can find and mark those surveyor's pins on the property line... Looks like that farmer gave up on it though, it's all weeds now anyways. Still want to mark the line. Need to put up a windbreak along there next year.

I have been dealing with a water leak for two days .....

First I thought I had a poltergeist, so when my brother came to visit I am like john you have to see this the laundry detergent bottle keeps sweating but it's only sweating water no detergent ....it kept leaving a puddle around the detergent bottle..
he starts looking at it and sees that I have a leak coming from the ceiling.....right above laundry detergent bottle
To make a long story short part of the ceiling in the laundry room had to be cut away I had to call for water and restoration to cut away any wetness and there are still dehumidifies running in the laundry room to make sure everything is dry.....pipe is fixed ...now I have a dry wall guy coming sometimes next week to put back dry wall where it's been cut away..

The good news is that while all this was going on ...I put new attachments for a washer and dryer soo I am all set up to get the washer and dryer I want which wouldn't of worked with the old attachments because they were low and sticking out of the wall ....now they were raised and put inside the wall....

I think having a good washer AND dryer would be wonderful and marvelous! Remember me telling y'all how Mama had it figured all out that if we were to get a dryer the electricity would go up to at least $1000 per month?!? (lol) So, by now I'm used to hanging out clothes and making do by making the bathroom a dry room, using the shower rod and a dryer. yay, right? :D I still fondly remember my other life when I ALWAYS had a dryer.

I have to go to work at 4 and go until midnight tonight.

Today is a day to repeat myself, it seems; BUT it is almost unreal what I'm willing to go through/do so I won't be broke. And it has to be legal...not because I'm so great & won't break the law, but because I recognize my inability to "get away" with anything. :)

    Yay for character building. :2thumbsup:

For a while, when I edited , it didn't show it. Now it does...IF it lets me edit.

I tried to edit out that I have a "dryer" in the bathroom but it wouldn't let me. [IMG] I MEANT I use the curtain rod and a space heater that blows out heat. That is my "dryer". gad and lol This thing won't even let me put my cursor or whatthehelleveryoucallit where I want it, to type. Time to go get ready for the salt mines.

space heater uses just as much electricity as an electric dryer. while the space heater maybe 1600Watts and dryer 3800watts. the time you use the space heater and the dryer amount time would cost the same. also the space heater is much more unsafe for doing the work its doing..
