Everybody can, one way or another, and it's usually fantastic. How did this saying ever become an insult?

One of the things I hate most about getting older is having insomnia more often. WTF am I doing up this time of the night? I'll be tired all day. Nothing on TV, not many people online, hubby sound asleep, not in the mood to do anything useful around the house. Shit.

 

My first cat Cinnamon used to sleep on my sewing machine. One time she slept on the pin cushion. When I went to use it again all the pins were pushed into the fabric.
