people give away pianos all the time because theyre such a pain in the ass to move...and a pain in the head if you have kids

 

This is why i don't. Someday i will though.

I have helped move pianos after a new house was built, gotta love it when the owners picked wood floors because their is still week old stained.

If you're worried about moving the piano you could always get a keyboard for now - practice your ass off and then get a real piano and you'll sound amazing right from the get go.

I have a lot of songs, mostly hiphop/old school rap, some techno and drum n bass that have piano in them and cause of this its always made me want to learn on a grand classic piano. When tuned right they sound awesome.

I worked for a old teacher of piano one summer and hers sounded amazing...crazy insurance on some of them...into the hundreds of thousands of dollars...

 

keyboard with weighted keys.. cheaper and easier to move around ., I have 4 of them, some them really old 1980s casio shit. where most the hip hop beats come from.

 

pianos are cool ....

Go to Control panel/ sound/ and make sure it's set to use that sound device. Also double check that you are using the proper port on the back of the card for your speakers. Also a reboot after the card is installed is a good idea.

 

maybe check the volume controls too
