I have had a bunch of tricker treaters. A lighted up hayride full of kids just cruised by...and they keep coming my dog is bouncing off the walls. Im pretty sure it ends at 8... half more hour to go.

 

Seems like i get a full stomach very easy now. I just had 2 pork chops and a little bit of rice and i feal like i just had thanksgiven dinner

 

my boss just stopped in for a lil visit....I have a massive crush on her...I think she knows.....

she's been making sure all the locals treat me good....made friends with a dude whos family owns the land adjacent to the beach

he has an atv and wants to take me out for a ride on the beach

Yes, Glen! Hearing "old" names used again...names that actually sound like names and indicate what sex the child is make me smile. :2thumbsup:

I've never known anybody in r/l named Alf. lol I've known a few Alfreds but none of them would have stood for you to call them Alf.

 

Total Opposite Here In OZ, If You Called Them Alfred They Would

Possibly Think You Were Making Fun Of Them...

Only A Few Days Ago I Called A Guy That Has Always Been

Known To Me As Harry, But On This Occasion I

Called Him Harold, There Was A Cold Silence For A Few Seconds...:freezing:

all the alfreds ive known used either fred or freddie as common name and alfred only for legal/formal

I saw a fellow for a time whose name was Alfred. I called him Al, just for short or whatever just a few times...and he told me in the nicest possible way he'd rather me call him Fred than Al, but what he really wanted was for me to call him Alfred.

Thanks for the pictures of all the kids and costumes.

When I was a kid our dachshund would always go bonkers when the doorbell rang, so at Halloween my dad would have to take down three of the four chimes. The dog still barked but was thrown off because there were only two instead of the eight chimes.

i'm in a high wind warning today...gonna have to head outside and weigh down some stuff

chickens can barely walk in this wind...its funny to watch them try

 

windy as fuck here too, and we're still under a rainfall warning. a few days ago it was -6 and snowing, and now it's 13 and heavy rain. canada is weird.

 

The winds definitely came through here last night along with rain. Some nearby counties had tornado warnings but I don't know if any officially hit. Lots of damage shown on the news this morning. Trees down, taking power lines with them. Power outages all around us.

 

Ah. Wake and bake and a bowl of chocolate pudding.

I'm so adult.

 

if i didn't have a meeting with someone at my school, i would have waked and baked this morning too. now i have to wait until noon like a sucker.
