there should be something good like that round here, being so much latin culture. i'm just not doing much for halloween this year, had to work yesterday and just haven't had party energy

I haven't been to a non-derby party since July. I'm excited to spend some time with good people in the good 'ol underground party scene.

 

I used to drive my daughter and her friends to downtown Toronto where they would wait on a corner for a rave bus that would take them to the secret party location...it was different every weekend....

Bitchy Girl: "I can't work my 12-4 shift tomorrow because my boyfriend's uncle died."

Are you serious? My manager told me this story, laughably, but covered her shift!!
I said to him "JEFF'S UNCLE DIED. I really can't come in tomorrow either."

Oh man. This will be a funnier story when told to the other managers...

 

I leave Monday for California... im ready... its starting to get cold.. and ill have 5 days with no distractions.. im looking forward to it.
