LOL! Hey...I thought the same thing when I went and applied but I figured I had nothing to lose. This is literally the only place I've seen in several years that is taking actual face to face applications.

There is one "older" fellow there, but he may be a tad younger than me, even if he Does Not look it.

The young folks there have all been super nice to me...so nice, its been a bit of a surprise. It seems to me they have gone out of their way to be nice. (have I said nice enough? ha)

Anyway, I realize things can turn quickly but I think since they see I can pull my weight they are interested in talking to the very attractive older lady with white streaks up the side of her hair. lol

oh, and I assure you minimum wage is indeed what I'm making, (and Lordy mercy I'm glad to be making that). Around here a LOT of other places only pay minimum wage.

Lest you forget, I'm not able to use my education because I have commited the TERRIBLE HORRIBLE crime of being arrested for simple possession...

Well, please tell him that McD's is the best thing around, as far as I'm concerned! :2thumbsup:

They ask practical, logical questions on the application and in person, such as have you been in trouble within the last 5 years (I could even see asking 10 yrs) and have you ever been convicted of child anything, and are you on a sex registry anywhere...ALL excellent, need-to-know things! seriously

They have given me a chance, and I can't, here on this forum right now, begin tell you what that means to me.
