I was happy to find fair trade, organic tea at costco, but the packaging is so wasteful. The box is wrapped in plastic, and then each of the 60 tea bags are inside of individual plastic pouches. The tea bags are the pyramid type, so they are also made of plastic. Seems very ridiculous.

 

if you are particularly concerned, i would suggest getting a tea ball (or a teapot insert) and order your tea in bulk online. repack into mason jars (better if you have a vacuum sealer) and enjoy.
i just get the cheapo black tea from the grocery store, and herbal teas. my tea ball broke.

A family friend passed away yesterday we did a conference call/facetime prayer with about twenty of us at once all on different phones at least ten people were present and each had a call on the phone with someone from out of state...we all prayed together and then we told individual memories thanked her for being so beautiful and said goodbye ....

This morning when I woke up I had a text that said she had passed

I worked at an animal shelter and eventually I could not smell the crap. I am told I would stink when I came home but I could not tell at all.

we have a bunch of different loose leaf tea pots and balls and such, but I prefer using a teabag most of the time, much easier haha.

even checked the weirdo health section at the grocery store..i hate that section because it reminds me of people like pressed ratface

i tried to go to my favourite bush spot yesterday but there is still too much snow on the trails

went to my swimming spot instead...the lake was 6 feet low...i guess they lowered the dams to lessen flood problems..i wanted to move some of the rocks that are always in the way but usually too deep in the water to move in the summer but there was people there
