and these huge pink puffy things appeared on one of my bushes this morning

 

Looks like peonies.

 

It's gonna be a long hot humid one.

We've already had some sun showers and I'm sweating doing nothing.

 

It's nice here now... Sky don't look right though. Gonna cook later. Yesterdays storm didn't amount to much.


Been attempting to empty the garage for the last 2 days... Haven't gotten very far yet. Yeah there's that much stuff in there. True, "emptying the garage" also includes improving work benches, painting walls, putting up pegboard, sorting tools... Still, it's taking forever and there's 80 bazillion other things to do (Low Estimate)

 

Weather just took a sharp turn.
Cooling off. Looking like thunder showers.

That's good. I gotta clean the guineas today and doing that in humidity sucks carrot turds.

Gonna try and track down some chalk today. I need to test my hood out. See if I need another coat or a light sanding to get the surface just right.

Saw some sexy liquid chalk pens online. Gonna see if any place local sells them and if they're stupid expensive or not.

raining here too...its warm but they say a cold front is coming in behind the rain

 

i almost ran over a huge snapping turtle last week....some hippie couple behind me stopped ...it looked like they were planning to grab it and toss it off the highway

 

They have turtle warnings on the radio, right now.

 

i remember last year around this time i made a road trip that took me through eggsprogs town and then down south on 11 and the road was just littered with squashed shells from the turtles trying to cross


it was like a warzone
