Are you using the pad on the laptop? Those are a pain. I have always hooked up a mouse.

 

Mouse on this laptop too... the pad is a curse.

I do plan on getting the son to hook up a mouse to this thing. I've about taxed my brain to its limit, and don't want to blow any vital parts out trying to figure how to get a mouse hooked up correctly to it.

 

I didn't know AOL had an updated browser. I'm more of a firefox guy but I had AOL on my first computer. AIM is a good tool for talking to people after the parents are in bed.:2thumbsup:

 

On my crashed dinosauer I also use Mozilla FF for going to some sites. Right now I feel like I'm doing damn fabulous just getting online.

And this was the 1st place/site I came to.

I'm not sure what that says about me. lol

 

i hate using a mouse

i use touchpad only on both laptops

i scroll with touchpad or sometimes i use the up and down arrow keys

 

Up and down arrow keys...dear God...I hope I haven't sustained brain damage or something. I didn't even SEE THEM BEFORE but now...well, it helped me get down here without jumping through the hoops of fire this AWFUL touch pad seems to enjoy putting me through.

But I'm still going to get a mouse to go with this new fangled thing especially since these keys don't give me the enjoyment of hearing and FEELING tapping going on.

I guess I think if I'm going to be made crazy by one thing (the keys not making enough racket nor giving me that good feel), I WILL help myself by getting a mouse pad. :mickey:

Does anybody else love that typing with Real Keys feel?

 

At first I didnt like the pad but now I use it more than a mouse

 

He's got a lot of toys. Ropes tied to bottles, bottles, squeaky bones, balls, more ropes and bigger ropes tied to bigger balls and a radiator hose. I think he just likes to be close to me when we are asleep so he finds comfort in my socks and boots because of my scent. =]

He's been taught "sit, off, out and come" now and he is learning "wait".
I was going to train in Deutsch but after the comparison of language, it's actually easier to speak English to him and that way my partner can also be boss. =]

my house is cleaner than ever before....

 

i have a tethered mouse now.. fuck that battery shit. and it wont fall on the floor no more either..

 

the only reason i got rid of the wired mouse was because it kept on falling. the only way for the wire to reach my desktop was under the sliding keyboard holder. every time i slide the keyboard out the wire would catch the board and pull it...making the mouse fall. i hate wireless mice but with my setup its the only way that works for me.

 

I went out and spent tooo much on a wireless mouse that you can recharge...charge lasts me a couple weeks

my other farm buddy just got a new eally nice laptop......he barely knew how to turn it on...he has no clue about it whatsoever/.....

which is all fine....but he was driving me crazy all weekend

Can't stand doing things on a laptop without a normal mouse! I really need one in order to use the laptop properly.

I can't wait to get back to a desktop... This laptop is getting old.

 

Never bought a laptop myself. My desktop is getting in the old range too, although all computers seemed to get the label 'old' after a year or 3 If there's a good OS for it and it is still quick enough to fulfill your needs it is not that old
