Anybody remember Janis Ian and her Tea and Sympathy album? I could play her music on the piano and before my voice changed I could sing her stuff.

Carly Simon is/was really more my style. I enjoyed playing and sometimes singing Carole King material but I really loved Carly because she sang about the good raunchy stuff I like and a lot of her stuff has that bluesy feel to it,

(no antifreeze around here at all that I know of...and none at all here in this yard. The demon that rents the building across the road doesn't even go there anymore.)

Putting poisoned meatballs in a dog park or someone's yard is pure evil.

I think Ty was right about her getting bitten...I think it was a black widow. I haven't seen any this particular season, but I have seen many, many black widows here through the years. They are supposed to be among the most lethal spiders, if I'm not mistaken.

 

I got off work early yesterday...scheduled to work 10:30 - 5:00. The head mgr started whining/crying LOUD about labor being high and I heard her tell the lobby lady to leave...knowing I'd be sent out there to slave away and mop after they kept me doing fries for 3 more hours.

I thought this in just a fleeting second and before I even knew what I was doing, I jumped up to Her Evil Highness and volunteered to please let me go home if labor was high...she says..."BYE then".

Before another word was said, I clocked out faster than you can blink your eye, or maybe as fast as.

I came home and slept.

I just couldn't dig her grave.

The boy/man is going to do it tomorrow. I actually got a girl to work for me with Her Evil Highness's approval. Letting the other girl work for me was done before this happened.

 

got back from our trip yesterday, i'll put some photos up when i get around to sorting through them.

my wife woke up at 6:50am today in a panic because she thought it was monday and she hadn't set her alarm lol.

he has never ordered coffee at macdonalds before haha...he even told me where his bank card was...he was lucid dreaming I think

Someone rang my doorbell around ten o'clock yesterday i wasn't expecting anyone so I so I was going to look out the window to see who it was... then they tried to open the front door furiously by shaking the door and get in ....I was scared thinking its a home invasion lol ...
I called the police and reviewed the security camera footage to see it was lady...then they went looking around the neighborhood and came back to tell me they found the lady who was lost and the GPS led her to my house but she was actually down the road a few houses away.....anyways it was pretty scary at the time

There's a few guys that have been posting vids of poetry lately. Nothing original, just doing covers. Well, this one guy, who can read a mean Poe, has tried Hamlet's big soliloquy and it's soooooo bad.

Since it's a 'play nice' group, I know critiquing would not be received well, even if done tactfully. But man, it's taking all my will power to keep my fingers away from commenting on it.
