guitar library got a new piece in...its a weird one...called a skeleton guitar....it has no ody...just an outline in wood....its so cool...has a built in pre amp so you can plug headphones directly into the guitar.....I reserved it for next month

the kid I make carry the equitment out to my car goes to the local high school......he had a bandadged hand and when I asked him what happened he said hehad an accident with some special kind of drill used in guitar making class

the fucking high school has a guitar building credit course

I would totally have stayed in school if I went in this decade as opposed to the 70s

 

someone is delivering a sandwich and some weed, I am waiting.

 

kinda foggy day remembering wise. i have some bud though a nice bit and smoked a bunch ha.

want to go to couple stores really quick in the morning. have work at 2 trying to meet up with a friend hopefully before to smoke and go on a quick hike before work.

I had a guitar playing class in school but never a guitar building class

 

guitar building is part of a craft caft luthier which is stringed instrument building. its amazing the amount of work and skill it takes to do so. i consider myself a good craftsman when it comes to some things, and it is still amazing to me how much there is involved in making even simple things or seemingly simple things. i found it somewhat challenging to make a simple chair look good. then something like a bicycle is still simple, but so much more difficult to build than a chair.

 

A good friend of my uncles hand builds guitars for some famous musicians. I forget who but they were in bands i have heard of at the time they were talking about it.
