/i couldnt play someone elses instrument very well., Takes me a few warm up with my own.. with arthritis and MS and all.. getting high/stoned probably dont help.. im working on getting a new guitar. strat dont work very well for the Dead tone..


went to an open stage yesterday for a little bit in the early evening.. you would think americas got talent was there.. was pretty crowded. a few the loud metal groups got booed. was the "gargly singing" that killed them. Their instruments were sounding ok..

I am pretty easy to adapt to a new guitar but I suck in general so maybe that's not a big deal

I did try and make a video.....now I remember why musicians do 100 hours of tape for a 30 minute album....its fucking hard to do 'first take'' and I don't have patience for takes 2 through 30

 

i was playing a little sultans of swing earlier .. many nice riffs and many fucked up one. however technically I could cut all the good riffs out.. isolate them. add to the album.. never sound the same live. sessions with MK he said those signature tones are hard to do as he gets older. not the same it was in 1974.

 

that's way beyond me/....sultans of swing....sheesh....think....the crickets but not as good....
