The only strategic boardgame I really love! I'm always playing it while toking though (actually you can lend a chessboard to play a game in almost every dutch coffeeshops as well!), so the quality usually goes a bit down after a few games. We also start discussing more about the moves then and a lot of the time changing moves back to see what happens if... Nothing better then a relaxed afternoon of smoking, good music and some games of chess! I've only one friend to play a good game with unfortunately, so we had the standard openings and gameplay thing as well, until I also started to use different tactics. Not from the books, I hate chess theory books as well :tongue:. Just start playing differently after awhile. My friend was immediatly confused and could only adapt to the change of playing after a few games. Makes it much more pleasant then always doing the same thing though.
