had a dream last nite i was being chased around by a tiny leopard...it was pissed at me for some reason...not in the jungle but on a big football field.... woke up and my big cat was sleeping with me on the bed


morning everyone and no one...-4 here today...i get my new car tomorrow...my new old car.....first car since my lincoln in 95 that has a spoiler and a sun roof....cant wait

everyone i know with a honda seems pretty happy with them. i'm partial to toyotas, myself.

it's chilly out today, -2C right now. going to apply to a couple of jobs this morning and fill out an application to start college in september. not sure if i'll go, depends on what kind of job i get, i suppose.

 

Ive owned a 99honda civic for 8 years now, its a manual and the only way to own a car. Love, ive done some work to it and its hard to beat 35 to 40 mpg highway. Its been through harsh fucking winters in deep snow and has held out.

Any of you have any experience travelling to other countries to work using a work visa type deal?

After I finish school this summer I'm going to take a year off and probably end up travelling somewhere to do some manual labor type work. I'm thinking maybe Australia seeing as I have a whole bunch of relatives there anyway.

But if anyone has done something like this and has advice it would be much appreciated.

Talk to your family. If you were going to get a professional job (programming, doctor, teacher, sales, etc-one that would would be taxed) then you should get a work visa. Many times you have to have a job BEFORE you can get a work visa.

Talk to your relatives-chances are you can get manual labor jobs and get paid under the table.

But realize it may be hard to get a manual labor job there-employment is terrible there (as it is most places) right now.
