Children and Guns....

In our state if someone breaks into your home you cant shoot them or you go up for man slaughter. Its like you cant even defend yourself or your property. I have a long life friend that is a state trrooper. He had somebody messing around his house when his wife was there alone and the first thing they told him when he was in route there was not to shoot the subject even if he is in the house. The only way you can shoot someone who breaks into your home in this state is if they shoot first. Well hell, by then you would probably be dead. Its getting to the point where the criminal gets the uper hand and the most rights.

In our state you shoot somebody for breaking in and stealing something you go up for 1st degree man slaughter. No joke!

I can honestly say at nine, my brother eight, we found the key to the gun room since my dad just got booted from the house, that day was one I will never forget, the least of mistakes was putting 32 shells in a 38 revolver and having shrapenal from the shell cases stuck in my arm, the worst part was the memory of pointing a loaded 38 at my brothers head, thank god nothing happened that day.

Having been in combat I can say guns are for one thing only, killing and that is all. I hate them, see no purpose for them except to provide food if thats all you can do and for protection. Should responsible people be allowed to own guns? Yes it is thier right.

In my opinion guns should stay in like new condition because thier are so few reasons to have or use them, guns just suck, I cant say no more.

you dont know what you are talking about. hippies listen to the doors and the grateful dead. they usually make things out of hemp like braclets and necklaces. hippies also have long hair and/or dreaded. they can usually be seen hanging out at coffee shops and head shops...... and you can always smell them from a mile away, which is usually a mixture of weed and patchouli.

 

Some are like that, but its not the style that makes a hippie, its all in a persons attitude there beliefs. I think Skip is really right on the definition of hippy. Get the book hippies from a-z and read. You are the one that does not know what you are talking about man!

The hair, the drugs, and the cloths is just an alternative style that some hippies use.

I've been shooting since I was 10 years old. You can bet your ass that if Pops had ever seen me running with a loaded weapon he would have beat the shit out of me with it. You have to teach kids the dangers of firearms and make sure they understand how to be safe. And they are not toys to be played with.

 

i only read til the end of page seven but i must say that i could have a gun if i wanted to... i dont. i dont totally trust myself but i do get scared... so i have a tazer gun. basically, it can take down a rhino (ive seen it) and it stays on for 30 mins. (keeping them on the ground).. so you can get help.

no offense to what others want to do... but that is the best option for me.

 

my dad has like 5 guns and then has the balls to ask all my friends if they have guns in their house cause otherwise i cant go over there according to him. And hell be like, tell any boys that mess with you ive got a 45 and a shovel, which is gay as hell. He said when im 18 though hes gonna teach me to shoot, so thats straight.
