Christianity based on Christ's teachings?

    Yeah, Jesus is misunderstood and mistaught by pretty much all of mainstream christianity.

    Although that doesn't mean there isn't tons of subversive elements within the church and its membership, that accept and talk about the unity of religions, and at least sympathize with mystical teachings... christ is thier trip, and they don't try to push it on all others, they just try to live out the teachings in thier lives.

    Of course to the fundementalists, these christians would not be taking the positions that jesus is the only way and every one else is doomed to the lake of fire, thus they are the arms of satan, ohhhh, spooky.

    Let us shine the love from OUR heart of eternal compassion on those ignorant beings that worship words, and dogma while have fallen into the trap of religious or spiritual eltism.

    May all beings be at peace
    May all beings be in love
    May all beings be safe
    May all beings be free

    I'm really getting into Yogananda's realizations about christ, who often spoke and came to him in visions... I just bought the book!

    I am reading it now....I love it! Yogananda's words are just that...I don't want that book to be over...


    Please read Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda...its the best book I ever found by accident...

    That book is wonderful too, and for me, it's like a really strong drug almost, small doses, a little at a time, that is plenty for me.
