Christians, do you feel any responsibility for others rejecting Christ?

I don't agree that it's slanderous, but maybe you see it from another viewpoint.
    My viewpoint is this.
There are (unfortunately) child abusers in the world.
But these people do not share a common image, faith, background or religion.
I don't see how that accuses anyone is particular, so I do not see how it can be slander.

Well, I guess we could agree to disagree:cheers2:. I really thought you said something different on another thread is why I took issue with you like this. I'm sorry. We're all entitled to our views.

(heart smilie if HF had one)

This is all because of media coverage.

I am tired, but i will dig up the stats...

In the mean time, The Church has apologized for the way the bishops dealt with the reports of abuse in the past, and we hope the Church is moving forwards on this issue. I am always saddened when there are reports. 1) Because the indiscretions of a few tarnish the name of many good men 2) because often it seems that no one is presumed innocent and 3) because although the Church does psychologically evaluate its men before ordination that it sometimes has scum like these men fall through the cracks.

This seems to be a very vague question ?

When you say "Christians", do you mean Christians in general and are you speaking of true Christians or false Christians?

When you say do you feel any responsibility for others rejecting Christ, you don't say why they rejected the Christ.

Also you don't say whether this is a direct or an in direct responsibility.
Direct being something like killing their brother in a war.
Whereas indirectly, Christians should feel a responsibility to all of mankind to try to bring them to the Christ, although they know they personally will never get a chance to talk to all of them and that a majority will reject the Christ, no matter what they do.

One must realize that even Jesus the son of God, the Christ himself did not convince the majority of the people and many rejected him because of the things he said and did.

After a quick perusal of the Scripture, I don't believe it says what you think it says. It appears that Paul is reasoning about those under the Law, and Christians are not under the Law.
    Nope. :D

Yes there are but they are wrong.

No it's not enough, you have to do both.
They are and more than likely they have tried to talk to you about it.

Like I said; they are, hope that doesn't make you unhappy. :D

People molest children, some of those people also call themselves "Christian" but Jesus said by their fruitage you shall know them, so I would say by their very actions they prove, no matter what they say, they are not Christians.

I would say that this goes for the organization they belong to as well as the individuals themselves. If the organization fails to reprove that individual, possibly by removing him from the congregation for such actions and tries to protect that individual or even cover it up, then that organization is also showing by their fruitage they are not Christian.

Yes some people think that but that is not what is taught in the Bible.

Bible, a book, does not teach. The Bible is read and interpreted.

I disagree. I believe it teaches an awful lot.

Christians have a law of the spirit and though Rom. 2:23-24 is talking about Judaic law, the principle is analogous of any law...

Belief is a space in the mind where knowledge is not apparent. The kind of faith that Jesus asked for was a little willingness to with hold judgment and keep his sayings. The application of his words will show you that they are true. Mustard seed to birds of the air building their nests under your branches.

Not true, I person can believe what they know.
Although Jesus did ask us to keep his sayings, faith is not a with holding of judgement.
    So true.

But your saying so does not make it true and this case your statement is incorrect. The Bible does teach.
