"CHRISTIANS": It's Time To Put Up or Shut Up

BTW, it has happened...again *sigh* I'm withdrawn on my bank account..am borrowing money from willing friends and family. This is going to be an interesting year.

I have know doubts about Jesus Christ, because I have heard His audiable voice. He is alive, and our generation will see His return. Because Jesus indicates that the generation that sees the return of the Jews to Israel, will not pass away, until all Bible prophecies are fulfilled. From this point on, our world is going to begin experiencing problems never faced in the past. That's why the Bible states, that in the last days, perilous times will come. Jesus said that if were not for His return, man would destroy himself. Actually, I don't recall you telling me you would look into anything, perhaps you said that to someone else.

 

Molly, when Jesus made that statement it was during the Sermon on the Mount. He was explaining to the Jews what they would have to do to work their way to heaven. When Christ finished His sermon, He so raised the bar for works that the Jews present knew that no one could be that Good. The point Christ was making was you cannot work your way to heaven. Sending money to Libertine, would only prove how the scriptures can be misused.

Once God spoke to me after I failed a job interview, and He told me I did everthing but pray about getting a job. So I was younger at the time, and I walked into my parents bedroom and kneeled down by my moms bed and prayed about geting a job, and then told Christ that if I got a job, it would be because of Him. I then said amen, and just as I said amen, an still kneeling, the phone next to me began to ring. When I picked it up, the man on the other end of the line asked me my name, and then asked if I could start working for them at 8 O'Clock monday morning. I worked that job for about a year, and made enought money for a car and enought to put me through a comerical diving course in Flordia. I have seen God work like this before, and I never felt it necessary to seek out a doctor. When ever I hear His voice, good always comes from it. He is a God of Wonder.

 

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

 

Don't die on me now..... I am not so sure that you would be happy with where you end up.

I've got the oppisite problem. I've got $20 in my pocket that I was going to send to hipforums but then I found out they only except paypal.

I don't have a credit card and I don't know anyone who does (except my boss).
sometimes it hits me all at once how strange my life really is.

 

Well first I think those who need a job should first ask Christ into their life, and after words ask Him about the job. Because as you know, often it is not what you know, but who you know. I worked as a forklift driver for about a year, which gave me enought money to buy a car and put me through a comerical diving school.

 

Now, that you have a good job, can I have the $20?

 

Thing is... it wasn't god that got you the job - it was YOU!!! You're the person that got the job, you're the person that saved up, and you're the person that got the car.

I have no belief in god, therefore i've not asked him for anything... and yet right now, my life mirrors yours... I've got a job and I'm using the money to save up for a computer and a dedicated server... once I have the computer and server, I'll be starting my own part-time business doing web development..

I've the master of my own achievements... just like you are of yours.
