    Figures.

Considering the marketing for Christmas starting about 4 months before the holiday, kids might as well go out on Halloween dressed up as Santa Claus.

depending one context and meaning, but december was origionally the tenth month. its not quite the 25 of october, but it will be soon enough.

midwinter's eve though, is the winter solstice.

what matters though, is snow (no i don't mean the stuff you snort), pine needles, and people not killing each other.

as for the war between merchandising and religious fanatacism, a plague on both their houses.

    Hello,

looks good. Could perfectly eat a slice or three of it before going to bed ;).

Hmm, they close at 20:00 on saturdays? Dammit, it's too late.

According to a 2010 Pew Research Center survey, resurfaced by the think tank last week in anticipation of Easter Sunday, nearly half of U.S. Christians believe that Christ will "definitely" (27 percent) or "probably" (20 percent) return to Earth in or before the year 2050. Conversely, 38 percent believe that Christ will definitely or probably not return within the next four decades.

St. Nicolas is at 5 december (here anyway, we always make something special of it in the netherlands :D). Today we had St. Martinus day where kids come at your door for candy.

My friend in the pub said Jesus was crusified by a brewery company. Apparently turning water into wine was harming their profits.
It must be true, he read it on David Icke's forum. :-/

According the the new book "Lost Gospel" Jesus had a secret wife, named Mary Magdalene, and he fathered two children with her.
Don't know exactly how that effects Christmas but I thought I'd throw that out there.

    Hello,

that was yesterday in my area. For some unknown reasons the kids gathered at the entrance portal of a nearby cemetery.

    Regards
