chronic fatigue syndrome

    The tiredness from narcolepsy is just pure mental sleepiness rather than physical fatigue. I have it, and I just feel like my brain needs to sleep, even though my body could keep going. I think with chronic fatigue, your body gets exhausted but you're not necessarily extremely sleepy, and you probably wouldn't have sleep attacks.
    Narcolepsy also has symptoms like cataplexy and sleep paralysis that aren't experienced by people with chronic fatigue syndrome (or anything else)...and there's other physical symptoms that narcoleptics don't experience, but people with CFS do...

    I didn't know they prescribed stimulants for chronic fatigue?

    i'm getting tested for lyme disease tomorrow! :party:

    my doctor thinks it's CFS... she basically said if it was lyme disease i would be seriously F'd up by now.. :eek:

    they're gonna call me to make an appointment with the disease specialist.

    I had the same type of symptoms . Turned out my body does not absorb iron very well at all. Having low iron gives you very similar symptoms if not the same
