At least here in tropical countries, it is a fact that you sweat while you sleep... Also I agree with the fact that it helps you wake up!

lol eating big macs isn't the only reason for chubbiness.
I consider myself a hippie and I am chubby. Diet is a part of it, but so are genes. :( Its all good, though. I'm cool with who I am. It took me a while to get here, I've come upon the philosophy that if someone doesn't like me for who I am, that's their beef. Fuck it. :D

I wouldn't eat a big mac if you paid me, but my genes really screw me over my jeans!

Im a 'chubby' hippie and I think that I am very pretty and I am not disgusting. You can't judge someone by thier looks just because you don't look that way, and if you did, why would you say it?

All we can see is your face but you don't look so chubby. You just look like a pretty girl and at your age a lot of that "baby fat" is destined to rearrange in the next year or so. Saw it happen with my daughter.

  10. Just read you're comments on bathing in the morning, Shale. I'm with you - there's nothing like sitting quietly with a cup of coffee in the morning before you do what you gotta do. I'll be honest and say that I don't bathe everyday. Don't see the point and nobody behaves like I smell or anything. Maybe it's a throw back from when travelling around the country from one festival to the next was the norm and the only wash you got was in a public bathroom if at all. Golden times!

maybe it takes a lot of junk food to produce resounding U.S. obesity, you know, the kind that is commonly associated to fast food. the human hot air balloons, i mean.but just getting fat depends upon a lot of things. here we have plenty of overweight people, no MCdonalds in sight for tenths of miles and sound fresh excellent food and it is a rare occurrence to find someone similar to the samples of high grade obesity they show when talking about obesity in the U.S. and when there is one usually it is an aged woman orsomeone with some peculiar woe. a friend of mine gained weight suddenly and massively (doubled her body mass) because of the adverse effects of some prescription shit meds.

I can't see the point of this whole thread.

Hang on to the healthy food while you can, Jager.
Latest reports say that the obesity thing is becoming pandemic. In fact, I don't think the US is the leader in that department, anymore... although it might be childhood obesity that I'm thinking of.

I blame corn syrup, which you see on package labels as "High Fructose Corn Syrup", or something like that. They put it in nearly every packaged food, here. I think it's probably just a cheap filler that makes nasty stuff taste better, so it's good for the manufacturer's bottom line.

Check you labels at the supermarket. It's in damn near everything, from spaghetti sauce and salad dressing to bread, crackers, and breakfast cereal.

Now, I don't suppose that corn syrup is any worse for us than regular sugar, but why does it need to be in everything? I wouldn't put sugar in spagehtti sauce or bread when I make them from scratch.

Awesome! :) I really need to diet. I'm at the point where I'm feeling sluggish and icky. Eating more fruits and natural foods, less beef pot pies and potato chips. lol

Those High-Fructose Corn Syrup ads crack me up every time. I am really really glad that I live in an area with a lot of natural food stores so it is easy to avoid buying crappy junk food.

IT'S NOT JUST A FOOD ISSUE... TV PLAYSTATION AND SHIT DO THE REST

those lucky enough to live in places where you can buy home olive oil and wine from cask, vegetables, home bread and cheese directly from small farmers and the occasional half lamb from some shepherd have a FAT advantage... too bad that less and less people can live on the earth .
