Just you try it, and you'll see what happens. Or look for other former cannabis.com members - they'll tell you all about me.

Then you can start thinking about what you say to people you dont know, you pathetic ****. It might land you in trouble you dont want.

Wind me up and it'll be the last thing you do.

Yeah, LIP's pretty headstrong, I'll agree with that, and despite what you may think of his choice of words, he's actually really intelligent. I'm a member from CannaCom as well, and LIP's a great guy when you get to know him, seriously.

    Plastic-free will NEVER work. Ever.

I work in a hospital- you know the insane amount of plastic we go through? IV bags, tubing, syringes, medication containers, glucometers, packing, thermometers, blood pressure cuffs, patient supplies, ect. and TONS of computers.

Would you trust glass IV tubing? I don't think it's even remotely feasible.

purple banana you have a good point but the problem will be that the oil that you could have used to make medical plastics with will have been burned in engines or made into throwaway plastics so you wont have the feed stock .

as for lip if you think that someone who goes round making internet threats is really intelligent your daft , his whole vibe is ropey and aggressive .

    grrrrrr
actually its a fault that I sometimes have , when I first read the threat above I came back with my normal response to threats or slights which is combative, Ive been in lots of fights in my life and Im really intelligent but at times Ive acted like a thug .

I went through a period of getting into lots of fights attacked people with knives bats was very lucky not to end up in jail or dead , ended up breaking my neck and looking back on it a lot of my problem was my own attitude .

at the time I was in my thirties

I hold it as a suspicion that Bush Jr. and the other oil guys knew full well that the available global oil supply was running out long ago. Since it was their business, livelihood, and something that had a deeply rooted place in their value sets, they acted out of desperation when invading Iraq.

If a person has a specific value, then his morality will consist in the degree to which he has achieved that value. If you're a redneck buffoon oil profiteer, it will seem morally valid to invade an oil-rich country in order to propagate your business for as long as you can.

Even though we see this as evil, it doesn't feel evil to those doing it, and the nonchalance and confidence with which they carry it out will convey to grassroot americans that they're doing the right thing. It all stems from the raw value we place on monatery figures; in business, the only moral responsiblity is the profit at the end of the day, and since the business world is "separate" from the world they were taught to employ their ethics, there is no greater good than maximizing profits.

It's increasingly clear that Bush Jr. & Co. had their eyes on Iraq long before 911, that the thing they valued above everything was finding an efficacious pretense to steal the nation of Iraq. The fuckers don't even care how they would look afterward, about the damage to their party...these are the actions of a desperate character. They know that oil is running out, and we should, too.

All that shit that we're finding underground then burning is the exact same stuff that the earth spend millions of years scrubbing out of the atmosphere after abrupt global volcanic activity, that many believe to have been responsible for prehistoric climate shifts that finished off dinosaurs. We're doing it in 100 years or so, way too quick for the earth to react to...scary stuff. No one rational is dooming us yet; no one can say what will happen...just prepare for the worst and work for the best.

I knew of Lip on cannacom...never really sensed genuine informed contribution, but he's got his qualities. I can only assume that he didn't divide free speech from personal attacks before posting in this thread

    have a look at this
    http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/
that's where I got all my information and thats written by a group of experts in the subject
But ok maybe theres more than a couple of ways of looking at it. Seriously though I think you would be shocked to find out how much will be impossible to manufacture when the oil runs out. society will change beyond belief - wars will start and millions will be killed - which will be good because we need a human cull

Thats basically why Im saying live a low plastic lifestyle its not being hairshirt for the sake of it , I used to have 2 cars and a van and I was a taxi driver not because of money but because I liked driving so much .
I used to drive 12 hours a day 7 days a week 6 in the evening till 6 in the morning .
but gradually Im moving away from a high oil use lifestyle ,Ive got rid of my cars and van thats why Im helping build eco villages because its going to be the best way to survive whats coming in relative comfort .

if you can grow your own food you will eat better than people who depend on a system thats going to fall apart , if you can make your own shoes you wont end up barefoot and you will have something to sell .

bush without a doubt knew my dad knew this was going to happen nearly 40 years ago hell its logical if individual countrys like america peak the worlds bound to peak at some time , and hubbert forecast world peak around now and he was right with america .

another point people wont in the long term have a choice about becoming more self-sufficient its going to happen ,if you adjust to it early your just going to suffer less and have more saleable skills also it takes years to get really good at gardening or making things and you will be ahead of the crowd

some people say well i shall become a bandit or thief and rob people but its very likely you will have people getting hung for stealing sheep or sacks of potatoes like you used to in this country when having a sheep or some spuds was a matter of life and death .

Thats why I think thats a bad option for your long term survival , in cuba where they had peak oil the rich people are the market gardeners and small farmers , or people who can make thing that are actually useful , and I think thats going to be the case here .
