I have a Mac so I'm not certain about a PC.

It's a two key process. You hold down one key and hit a second key.

On a Mac you hold "option" then you hit "G" = ©

On a PC "alt" is the same key. So it should be "alt" + "G" should = ©

If it's not "alt" then try the other couple of keys that are next to "alt"

"alt" stands for alternative Keyboard.

You can hold it down and then type on every key to see what each will type out.


" … " This is called an ellipse.

Hold "alt" + " : " to get " … " Don't forget to use the "shift" key.
Mac, hold "option" + " : " to get " … "

You have to use the "shift" key to get " : " which is above the " ; ". Just like doing a smily. : )

So it's Hold "alt" and hold "shift" and hit " : ; ". Okay?

So, you actually own two extra keyboards.
alt without shift.
alt with shift.

Double.
Try both. Type out every number, letter, and symbol. Twice.

Alt + r = ®

It truly will be a colossal piece of work, that will be shared for generations to come. My good friend Larry Jordan is writing a few more stories. I know you'll enjoy them.!!! Good Morning All,
I sit here in awe of the magnificents of the Earth and it's reseliance to renew it's self. Tho blistered by the scorching heat of the Dog Days Of Summer, all but fried up and turned to dust.

You could see the trees suffering, killing off parts of themselves so the rest of the tree could survive. At a glance you'd think the trees were dying but not so, the Texas Trees, they have figuerd out how to beat the system. They will shed leaves and even branches to conserve water and nutrients to insure survival of it's spiecies.

Through the drought that has all but wasted the terrain, the trees stand tall, like giant guardains to stand watch over the Earth. Under the great canopy of shade that the trees provide, lay the grass and soil that cover the roots of the trees, like a blanket of protection from the intence rays of the East Texas Sun.

Their only salvation, The Rain. A distant rumble brings hope, a flash of lightening on the horizon awakens the dusty leaves as a slight breeze lifts them to dance.

You can smell the rain coming, it fills the air with a thickness as it draws near. The creatures of the earth can smell it too, as they scurry about getting ready for the event, going home to seek shelther in the bossom of their creature families.

The wind picks up and brings the rumbling closer, louder as the lightening burst across the sky in a brilliant display of what seems to be crocked fingers pointing to it's destination as it branches out to energize the earth with it's electrafying abundence.

Liquid relief drips down upon the trees and they reach up to greet the wettness of life. The clouds gather in their black attaire, crashing together like giant cymbols, shaking the windows and rattling the doors.

It's a formal anouncement that Rain is on it's way, like Gabriel blowing his horn. Excitment is on the edge as you count the seconds between the bolts of lightening and the time it takes to hear the sound of the thunder that follows.

The rain is upon us, it covers the vegetation and washes clean the dust and debre' that has saddened the fauna flora. The shine returns to the leaves as they absorb the magick of the esscents of life.

Precious water pools in the low places as the earth drinks deeply, swiftly as if it were dying of thirst. Joyously the grass soaks up the liquid life and the metamorphis unvails itself and transforms from brown and dry to green and suble.

The tiny seed that lay just under the earth burst forth with greenery as they peek beneath the soil. They were not defeated by the Sun, they lay in wait for a new begining, their wait for moisture is over.

As the Sun burns through the clouds and the rain passes onto the west, drops of water clings to the vegetation and sets off a dazzaling display of prisoms of light.

The Birds flit here and there rubbing the fine feathers against the leaves, washing themselves clean in the drops that gather in the curl of the leaves. They sing a praise of thanks to Creator for the blessing of life giving water.

The Promise of continuation is written across the sky in a rainbow of blues, reds, purples and yellow as it reaches from one end of the planet to the other, like a circle of love in phycidelic dreams.

Hi all,

I've not been here or anywhere because I've been in too bad a shape to focus or concentrate on anything real. Eye pain and huge headaches all week now. Can't do real work or computer work. Gotten pretty bad. Hope it clears up. Soon.

I miss all of you guys. Sorry I freaked out about the food thing on Haight Street. Hope all can forgive me on that one. Seem that I ran everybody off of the forum altogether. Sorry.

Please just stretch you words a tinny bit longer and explain to the uninitiated readers. "Your public." Your new readers in China and Italy don't know what a pirosky or what the other things are, or how they taste. What your experience is. Broaden. Explain. Share! THX.

Hey, Scorpio Kenny and dfwolverineGE: I haven't visited or posted for quite a while. What's up with the stories/book/posts thing? Anybody remember the two narcs at Alatamont, before the beginning of the concert, who tried to bust a dude? The entire crowd began to move in towards them, and they kind of faded away into the crowd with their tails between their legs. I remember it well, because I wasn't totally ripped out of my mind on Sunshine yet; not until about an hour later, that is.......................... Anybody? Remember? Please?

 

I just read up on this Johnny Boone. I think I'd like this guy! Those HORRIBLE things that he's accused of: possession of UNTAXED booze; growing and transporting marijuana; firearms violations (probably means UNREGISTERED guns!). The only thing I can't wrap my mind around is "Wanton Endangerment". What the H is that? If the Gov. would leave its citizens ALONE, and concentrate on REAL, ACTUAL crimes (against humanity), I'd feel a whole lot safer. Living in AZ was eye-opening enough; life here in TX can be downright DANGEROUS, even for a mainly conservative person like me (although I still retain some basic liberal views). I have recently been helping an ex-con get back on his feet, and it has become apparent, to me, that once you've broken the law in this state, they are sworn to bother you for the rest of your life.
