I completely agree with you there. EVIL or just plane misguided. See the movie and you tell me what you think. OK?
The very first movie. Despicable Me.
I cried at the end. Everyone was saved. LOVE!

But everybody changes to GOOD in the end of the movie and the three little girls win the heart and completely change the BAD Lead character's Life. He then KNOWS Love.

Isn't that what hippies are all about? LOVE?

I Love YOU. And your Man. HE ROCKS. And all of the kids. Sara Especially.

    LOVE

    Happy Seeding

I was just thinking ( I know, it's a dangerous occupation) But what I was thinking about was, Messages/Messengers

Who is sending the message, are we getting the message, who gets the message and why do just a few really understand what the messenger says. Who is the messenger?

What is the message and does everyone get the same message or does it vary from person to person.?

I'm looking all over the web. I can't find any mention of Grace getting out of her house. LOL Kantner and David Freiberg, yes, but no mention of Grace.

Says the concert is for vets only. FREE. Maybe possible thickets at the door. / Will Call. Ranger do you have your vet proof with you?

I can't get in. Oh well.

The FB consensus now seems to be the Ranger was never at Tiller or Humming Bird or wherever that was. Mary Jo peeked into FB and we read together. Ranger, were you there?

    Mary, anything sprout yet?
    Can't wait.

    HI YA, Ranger.

Grace no long sings with the band, she is an artist now and Paints..She is very reclusive and as Kenny mentioned, she doesn't get out much.

Ranger said he was not there :D, so we all decided that it wasn't Ranger in the picture, it was Big Steve as Danny said it was when he posted the pic.

I haven't seen any little green heads poking through, but it has only been 3 days. Lynn put me up some grow lights bc the nights are still a bit on he chilly side and the seeds need warmth to grow.

I planted more seeds yesterday.. I think I will still do a few more tomato seeds just in case some of these don't come up.. I planted Big Boys and some 'Tommie Toes'. I am thinking to plant maybe some other types too. I am hoping to set up my vegggie stand again this yr. It did fairly well last yr. and I wasn't even trying that hard.

This yr I am going all out on the veggie stand. I've got way more seeds working that we had last yr. bc we bought our plants at a nursery and that limited us bc that can get pricey, with the green house tho', tiny as it is, cost way less. .. so yay me for getting a green house. . and yay for hubilicious for building it

Yay for hubilicious for building it, That's so cool. I'm glad that you are doing it that way. I had never grown a garden from a nursery before. I didn't ever know that you could do that. It never occurred to me. I had always bought seed packets and just plated them right n the yard. Every food garden that I ever tried. I've even made a salad and cut the seeds out of tomatoes and folded them into a paper towel to dry on the window sill stored them and then planted them in the spring. Not only spring but I've planted at any old time of year. mid summer or way to early. I'm not much of a "fuss with it" kind of gardener. I plant them. Water them. If some don't pop up I just plant some more seeds right in the ground. And more water. I've always ended up with big yields. I just let the plants do their own thing. My job is to lay in the chase lounge in the Sun and pull the hose to the next closer row. When all of the rows are watered all of my hard work is done. LOL
It's a style thing. Nature should be easy. Sunshine and leaves.

Some of your seeds should get sprouting be now. Wheatgrass seeds will pop in three days. Got my fingers crossed for you.

So save your seeds. Buy one extra ear of corn and hang it to dry t out. Them strip and plant the seeds. Eat an apple out doors and spit the seeds in the dirt and and kick dirt over them. Pomegranates are all seeds. Bust one up and fill the whole yard. Your other plants cat grow in the shade. LOL

No but seriously, enjoy and have fun in your new greenhouse. Really.
I bet hat Ranger only wishes that he had one.

We put a lot of seeds in the ground too Kenny.I would just like to start the more expensive plants by seed. We don't just plant a 'few' we plant at least an acre or more. It gets pricey buying bedding plants.. the starters are like 12.00 a flat..a flat holds 32 plants, a pack of seeds hold any where from 25 seeds to 180 seeds for about a buck 29.

Lynn had all the stuff to make the green house so that cost nothing but a little bit of time. I think beside the tiller, that the canning jars are the most expensive item about growing a garden now that we have the cost of the plants issue solved.. freezing is cheap, but if the freezer goes off for any reason you lose everything, freezer burn sucks and there are just some things that don't freeze well.. I mean, they freeze but they taste like crapola and hubs will not eat them. His thinkin' is: Meat and Ice Cream go in the freezer. Vegetables go in Jars.

Canning jars run $9.00 for 12 pint jars and $11.00 for 12 quart jars. You can use the jars over again a few times but then they start to break in the processing.after a few yrs. and ya have to re-up. When you reuse the jars you have to buy the rings and seals, when you buy the jars by the case, the rings and seals come with. The rings run about $3.00 a doz. and the seals cost 4.50 a doz. when you buy them separately. You can reuse the rings for a while too but they rust eventually and wont hold up under pressure.

High acid producing veggies don't take pressure and can be 'hot water bathed, boiling jars for about ten minutes just to get a tight seal. Some other starchy kind of vegges and or if they contain meat like salt pork, bacon or ham. half to be processed from 55 minutes to 1 1/2 hr. pressurizing canned good can be tricky. It's all about timing and watching that needle to keep it on mark.. I sit in front of the contraption and dare that needle to move. If you let the presser get over the pressure amount set for each veg you're working with, it will pull all the juice out of the jars and the integrity of the seal will be jeopardized and may not hold it's seal and spoil. I have had that happen a few times and is why I sit in front of the stove watching to make sure the presser stays consistent.

Well here comes the sun, little darlins'. The noise of the cars traveling to work, the chicken rustling, them birds tweeting their tweetie tweets back and forth distracting me from my thoughts of caning and bringing me into a realm of the hyper life of nature's music.

    Blessing on us all

Hippies specialize in Love, Love, Love. It is an unconditional love, the kind that lasts. Even when there are differences of opinions and at times yelling and screaming and stamping your feet, but in the end, it's family all the way and I can say what I want about my family but you had best watch what you say about them in front of me kinda love, just like in all families.

It's been raining all night, but that's alright, we need the rain like we need the air to breath. and the sea to sail. Our sea be our imagination where our wildest dreams are formed into manifestations of the illusion of reality.

The Light comes in, the Light goes out, to be taken in again to then be let out. And so it goes like the circle of life we pretend to have. Our wishlist manifest, our jolly little quest. searching for the best of which there is little rest from the harvest of trials and tribulations of misgivings and frequented mistakes from where there is no sweet surrender, just the lolly pops and rainbows of expressive imagery of super abundant energy.

It is all a dream we decided to dream and free ourselves from the matrix. We are captured on a spinning wheel that adds to the ever changing life mix, of daffodils and magic pills that take the pain and gives us thrills.

We customized what we never realized and molded it like it was clay. We dressed it up and painted it's face and then we called it a day. We canonize and then act surprised when it falls away, it all begins when you write in friends that were never meant to stay.

What we see in the eyes of the privatized, the brilliant and the plain, It's in the will of a million stars, that started as little flames. They blew and grew through the age where the mind has kept them new, the burning of the churning, wheel of life we keep turning, in the formation of creation of The Hippie Nation.

    amen

Yay! Real sprouts! It's really going on.

Well I certainly do hope that more things soon sprout. You know what they say. Man does not live by lettuce alone.

    But, chicks dig it. LOL

    Hurray for sprouts!

it's been really cold here the past few days. I have heat lamps going but it's not quiet warm enough to bring the seeds on. It's suppose to warm up in the next few days so, I'm sure the little greenies will start popping their heads through the soil in no time at all.
