    Kenny is like a circle.
    He's A Round.

My computer's main Hard Drive got a nasty case of I'm very much on my way to really breaking down. So, I've been off for the pass 4 weeks.

After much mechanics of running computer fix it software for days and days on end I finally got some what operational.

My computer has a second Hard Drive and a Huge external plug-in Hard Drive and both have the computer Start Up "Operating System" on them so that I can change to whichever to start up and to operate the computer. Kind of like having three computers in one computer. Took forever to move all of the massive amount of files and software from the Main over to each of the other two Drives. Cause the dying main drive has a main malfunction which is causing it to run slower then dirt. Before it dies completely. Pretty soon.

    But I'm A Round.

    HI ALL !

Good Morning Ranger, Kennykins. et all,

The rain is letting up on us for a few days. So says the weatherman. I hope the garden spots dry up enough to get the tiller in there to break up he ground yet again. This will be the third attempt to put plants in the ground.

The first planting of potatoes, onions and sweet peas rotted under 3 inches of water from the constant rain. It let up for a week and Lynn replanted. Then it rained for three weeks and, well.. we haven't been able to even get in the garden bc of the mud sucking your boots off your feet.

It's been a bit frustrating tho'. Building the little green house, getting the plants to grow, watching them get ready for the ground after hardening off and it keeps raining making it impossible to get them in the ground. The yellow crook neck squash is blooming lil bitty blooms. I am waiting to see if I get any lil bitty squash :) I could pickle lil bitty squash.

I have been trying to keep busy. Me and my girls constructed a wall of strawberries. We took plastic water bottles cut holes in them, laying them on their side horizontally. Then strung string through each end of of the bottle. We filled them up almost all the way, then we put strawberry plants in them and tied them to a strip of lattice fastened to the outside wall of the house. When the plants grow bigger they will cascade down and look like a wall of strawberries.

It turned out fantastic. It worked. Now just waiting on the berries to start busting loose. The reason for the 'wall' affect is to keep the berries off the ground. The insects love, love, love strawberries as well as the rabbits, skunks and other berry thievin' critters, so, this method of growing small root system plants is ideal in a few ways.

The critter's thievin' cuts way back, the insect eating slows down and the bendin' is eliminated. YAY. Bendin' really is a drag these days, for all of us oldies, but goodies :). The eye candy part as the wall grows into beautiful fruit bearing yumminess and is a blessing to the mouth and the smell of the strawberries a treat for the sense of smell.

They tantalize all the senses of the body, mind and the spirit. The shear delight of each little bite, awakening the splendor that arouses exotic rememberence of ancient dissent which stir the mind as the sensation over takes ones brain as the taste buds explode with enthusiasm and a hip hip harray.

It's all so appealing and super healing to pluck the juiciness from the wall and consume with glee the wholesomeness of healthiness in the friendliness of yum. I share it, I swear it and we all get some. Gather up your loving cup and pick to your hearts desire. But be aware and just pick your share and leave some for the one behind you. Just get back in line and by the time it comes back around more strawberries will have grown. And they come back each year and we all stand up and cheer. Strawberry Walls Forever.

We've had our day of rain last week, but like they say about the heat here in the summer "It's a dry rain!" What's this "mud" you speak of?

I came to the Haight in 65/66 after a short hitch in the USCG and then went back to Texas to run a "head shop" in Houston before returning to the Haight.

Mary. I'm praying for you guys. That line of storm fronts is moving from the west side of Dallas over to the east side of Dallas and is due to move right into and past your location.

    Tornadoes !!!!!!!!!

Please keep your eye looking out of the windows. May God keep both of you safe and all who are around you. Family and friends and neighbors.

I'm praying for your new garden too. If the rain comes you may need to put all of the dish towels and all of the bath towels out there on the ground. Ring them out, across the road, every 20 minutes.

    Keep safe and God Bless.

thanks Kenny for the care. We fared pretty well considering the hellacious storms we've been hit with the past several weeks..

There were several to be said touching down all around us. Tho' I walk in the valley of tornado's, I fear no evil, for the Lord is with me

There are 10 people still missing in Van TX. Van is about 16 miles s/w of me. It got torn up pretty bad.

It blew through here for a couple of hours, we received no damage, our electric didn't even go out. We are fortunate Creator blessed us.

    Totally weird news. Arcata, California.
My son is alive. A Saturday May 9, 2015, rip off. Supposedly, his lady friend was looking at possibly Stuff to maybe buy. Poor quality. She told them no. And then one more of them came into the house with a gun to jack them up and to rob them of the cash and whatever they could get.
A robber shot my son's lady friend's son in the shoulder. He had come over for a visit for Mother's Day. The guy bleed to death.

She and he are OK. Her son is gone. Prayers Please ? Heaven.

Yeah, His gal's son was killed. They are OK and over at his mom's house. He's like 41. Her son was 38. They're OK, have a great lawyer and have interviewed with the D.A. to give what info that they can.

I web mapped the location. the street block is only 6 or 7 blocks form the hospital. ??? Wow !

Yes, Cakes. It seems that they caught the two guys that they were looking for. One of whom is the shooter. Homicide.

It seems that the woman gave them up after she herself was charged with robbery and homicide. She had a one million dollars bail. But she is out on the street now. Released on her own recognizances. (Out free on trust to come back to the court.)
Here is her NEW lesser charges:
    http://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2015/05/suspect-in-recent-home-invasion-and.html

Here is the story on the other two guys. One of which is the shooter. I believe that the cops know who, buy now.
    http://kymkemp.com/2015/05/13/two-suspects-arrested-in-saturdays-homicide/

Of course, everybody is freaked out of they're minds.
    Right?

I've called and talked to them twice now.

It seems the story is that "she", the crippled up woman who my son is a state licensed "care giver" to, (he is a Live-In), was looking at some stuff to maybe buy, and it was too much shake. (Not quality) She told the other woman, NO Thank You.
And then the other woman's two guy friends tried to smash down the front door and rob them of whatever money that they might have had at the home.

My hearsay, that I heard, "after the fact", is that the guys out on the front lawn heard that it was NO and they crashed through the front door, AND then the son who came over for Mother's Day tried to push the door shut, and the other armed guys kept pushing it open, with gun and a knife in hand, and then with all of the pushing, and muscle strains and contractions, one of them shoots him (Trevor the son) in the shoulder.

(There are some Big Arteries is a shoulder )

THEN, Somebody said, "Hey, we have to call 911". Then said, "He's going to Die without help". And the shooter and his buddy ran off.

The guy who came over in advance of Mother's Day, he is gone. Dead.

Ranger, of you see this. This is your family. Call me. Okay?

    Love to all.
