Sorry. Been just crazy here for two days now. First appointment with colon surgeon, in 1 hour and a half.

Yesterday his office women calls to say that they do not Have a referral, from the other doctor. The other doctor sent the med exam records over but they received no referral and the insurance won't cover without a referral.

Two days of phone calls to make it happen. I could write a book.

Finally it's a GO.

The Lg intestine goes up on your left side, then across to your right side and then down, and there connects to the end of your Sm intestines. I have a growth right inside of the end where the Sm intestine goes into the Lg intestine.
He say they'll cut out the last 7 inches of the Lg. intestine. Disconnect the Sm intestine from the Lg intestine and sew it back to the new cut part of the remaining Lg intestine. Standard stuff. Day and a half of - No food pre. 4 days hospital after. Baby food. 2 months healing and don't lift a gallon of milk.

They will, call and Schedule. Maybe about a month. This might screw up me going to the Oregon Country Fair.

Now I really feel old.

It's been raining for two days here dark clouds engulf us. Bad tornados in N Texas last night. Not real close to us, but close to family that lives there. All seem to be ok.

We had a few limbs fall and the power went off sometime in the night, but we slept through it.
