Is there any new or old business?

I do have some business.

We need to get certification numbers so we con get the 501 filed before 2014. I''m not wanting to go through the tax forms on the fed.

Kenny you mentioned that you wanted to get us certified..well papers on our certification. Ranger said her had his and was sending me a copy for the records. That was several weeks ago.
We need to get that done so we can finish the form and get it done.

We have no old business going forward from the last meeting, an no ongoing agenda.

Yes, I have the How To papers, and I'll give them a read. Then I will check out the I.R.S. forms location and get a copy of what you have. (The Forms.) I will look on there for the actual instructions as to how to fill out the forms, also.

Don't know what you mean. What is a ministry certification number? Where would we get one?

 

On the certificate when you get ordained, there is a number on it.. ya know

 

It's like a vin number, they were asking for either the number or a copy of the certificate to verify that there is clergy in attendance

 

they were also asking for which theology school the minister trained at. I understand that to be ULC, is that correct?

 

I suppose that the ULC monastery is considered a school. We're already an established church and if we have Drs of divnity certificates we should be able to get federal exemption

 

As I recall the fed wants a copy or copies of our certification, not just the vin number thingy

Kenny, I understood the form and did not have a problem filling it out, until I came upon the questions on a minister/clergy and documents.

That was where I had the problem, we did not have to credintuals to complete the form. It has been several months ago now.

I am posting this for the record. We are a church because we say we are. Therefore, we make the decisions regarding our ministers. We are not the ULC. Why do our ministers need to be educated in another's doctrine to minister ours? If I say you are my minister, Mary, then you are. Anybody see?

First, I'd like to open a discussion on what we represent as a church, what our goals are.
