religion-induced mutilation. i'm completely against it. especially when the child grows up and has to live with that, wondering what it would of been like to have the foreskin intact.
Um. The opposite could be said about non-circumsized men wondering what it would be like not to have foreskin. A couple circumsized men have told me that they are really quite happy being cut, and some have even told me that they would prefer loss of whatever sensation if it meant that it would increase their sexual endurance. Arguably, there are all kinds of methods and techniques out there to increase sexual endurance - but I'm just saying some people are quite happy with whatever they have.
HEH not exactly. men who think like this can always get it cut off. but the unfortunate ones who lost it at an early age can't exactly grow it back!
My husband is uncircumcised. He has never had an infection or UTI. I assume the need for circumcision due to higher infection rates are more from way back in the day when people didn't bathe regularly. If we have a boy we are not circumcising him. We don't see it as a necessity. If we can teach him to wash any other part of his body we can teach him to keep his foreskin clean too. If the child wants to make a choice to remove his foreskin later in life then that's up to him. I'm not gonna do it to him. The thought of doing that to a baby makes me cringe, even if it is the norm.
I hate to recommend a Penn and Teller for anything but I gotta give them credit for the episode of their series 'Bullshit' on Circumcision. Its not directed at the religious peoples (Muslims and Jews) obviously they do this for a religious act. Its about the mainly American infatuation with amputating baby boys foreskins for esthetic and 'social myth' reasons. Yes, I do understand that it is also practiced in many urban southern canadian regions and elsewhere but this is a USA focus. It pretty much annihilates all the urban legends about 'infections' or preventing masterbation etc. Heh.. it also demonstrates a guy who has completed a 'restoration'. Anyways, yes, I most definately think this is a very signifigant mens issue and its another thing that makes me think - IF this was a womans issue, we would see massive protests and restitutions being made. But, Unfortunately men dont seem to have the ability to go and march and fight for their rights in the same way. Thats too bad really.
i love not having forskin, i know that if there was anymore sensation in my tip, id die of over pleasure! i think it would be creepy to have extra skin, alwasy having to move it out of the way. i asked my mom(dont ask) and she said most woman prefer it circ, i asked a girl i like and she said she hates un circ.
Exactly my thoughts, well except the whole extra pleasure thing, no such thing as too much. Uncut might be natural, but I think cut just looks alot more "normal", plus the fact girls seem to prefer it cut, but then again this is in America where cut is the norm.
