In a world where we wear underwear and then jeans over that (I do) I really don't feel the need to have a protective flap over it, if anything you wouldn't want to lock in moisture because it can become a breeding ground for bacteria. It doesn't catch enough breezes already... Atleast in my opinion, then again I've heard a few girls say they like it because its just more on the dick.

 

You forgot the barefoot option. There seem to be a great deal of threads centering around that too.

 

I find it highly unlikely that you remember your birth. You probably remember a dream.

 

Not being able to remember something in the long term is hardly an excuse for imposing agonising pain on anyone. If it was, then the use of torture wouldn't be outlawed by the United Nations. After all, once the torture session is finished the actual pain is in the past & can be forgotten.

If you've ever watched a video of a baby being circumcised and, bearing in mind that they rarely use any kind of anaesthetic (even locals), can still honestly believe that the agony he's being made to go through, can be excused becaused he won't remember it in the long term, then you are a sadist of the worst order. It's no different from taking a whip to a new born baby, claiming it doesn't matter because they won't remember the pain.

Not being able to remember a painful experience is the most pathetic argument there is.

I've never even seem a circumcised cock in real life. Not a one.
Is it a very popular decision to make in America? I know some of my American female friends have never seen an uncircumcised cock and were surprised that they are somewhat of a rarity over here in the UK.

It used to be a class status thing in the UK. Middle classes & upward would tend to have their boys cut as matter of procedure, quite simply because of it being one of those ridiculous inexplicable rules of "Upstairs-Downstairs" type social protocol. Fortunately this is rapidly becoming a thing of the past, along with quite a bit of class hierarchy.

 

Where I grew up in suburban, upper middle class New England, almost all the boys were circumcised at birth. The only ones that i can recall, in gym class showers or at camp, who were not was a boy whose father was a doctor and did not approve of the practice, and another boy born in Europe. We thought it was odd to have that little nozzle covering the head. And all our fathers were cut also.

One of my closest boyhood friends was not circumcised, and when we were about ten years old, we "compared notes" and displayed ours to each other. He showed me how he could pull back his foreskin to make his look like mine. Shortly after that, he got circumcised.
