The level of water in the Estuary has come up without a doubt. How much is due to melting Ice caps, is in question.

The sandy soils are melting into the waters, dropping the level of the land.

It affects some areas more than others. This is the bubble mentioned earlier.

I was specifically highlighting The Economist cover. It’s intellectually lazy to conclude all of one message is wrong if you pinpoint one part of it and conclude that little part is wrong, and therefore so is everything else. I have no idea if Obama is gay, and I don’t care. I don’t agree with all of Jeff Berwick’s points.

Explain the Devil standing in front of the Climate Change machine. What exactly is that supposed to mean in “A Rough Guide To Hell”?

The Dollar Vigilante was founded by by Jeff Berwick and Ed Bugos in 2009 and is rated "as a right-biased conspiracy and pseudoscience platform based on the publication of videos that contain false, misleading, or unsubstantiated information," by Media Bias/Fact Check.

Thanks. As if I didn’t expect some generic answer from you.

Try to use your brain. I’m asking you to explain The Economist art. That exists no matter what your conclusions are about The Dollar Vigilante. Your response is similar to someone saying “YouTube is your source?? Lol” when showing them a real video. The outlet does not matter. What matters is the CONTENT. The content is the content, no matter what source it is shown on. This isn’t some fake AI stuff. That’s the only thing you could zing me on regarding the source of the content.

    Okay.

The devil standing in front of the climate change machine means that climate change is bad for humans, just as the devil is bad for humans.
    Simple.

The Dollar Vigilante gives us it's subjective interpretation of the art, based on it's well documented bias. That doesn't mean it's right, even though I don't understand what you seem to think their view is.

Instead of guessing the meaning of the art, why not consult the artist?
Instead of projecting you own subjective values, meaning, and biases into cover art, why not engage in productive discussions about the articles inside the magazine?

“The Devil is bad”…how? What is a hallmark of the archetypal Devil? Usually what comes to mind is the word deceit.

    Really?
The devil is bad for humans as he is the antithesis of God, or good.

The current human caused climate change is bad for humans because it is the antithesis of climate stability, which is good for humans.

But who cares? You can read whatever you want to into this cover.

    • Revelation 12:9
So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
    • John 8:44
You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.
    • Genesis 3:1-6
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden"?" And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, "You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die."" Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil." So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

When discussing the climate, it's always relevant to quote the Bible.

But why do you presume to know the intention of the artist?
Why do you presume that your interpretation is right and everyone else's is wrong?
Why do you insist that a comical piece of cover art offers proof that human influence on the climate is a vast conspiracy?

Because my argument simply makes more sense than yours. Clearly the artist had some intention in mind. And the Rothschild family are stakeholders in The Economist. Do you like the Rothschilds?

“The Devil Is Bad. Climate Change is bad” is a lot lazier argument than “The Devil is a Liar. He’s standing next to the Climate Change machine to distribute his lies.”
