This, this skit wasn't really Larry David portraying Bernie Sanders, it was Larry David portraying Bernie Sanders as his character in Curb Your Enthusiasm. I thought it was great.

I also liked the intro skit where he and bernie were coming to America. I haven't watched SNL in years and didn't care for the rest of the episode but Larry David's imitation of Bernie is comedic gold imo.

They look so similar it's startling. If you look quickly enough, it's tough to tell them apart.

Just wanted to point out Bernie is polling at 78% here which is pretty on par with every other online poll out there. He usually polls at about 80% in online polls. I guess Hillary supporters don't use the internet.

They use the internet. It's just coin tosses and DNC rules usually put his support below 50%

I don't buy it either, I actually think comments like that are pretty manipulative. People have a right to vote for the best candidate without being made to feel guilty about it.

Have you heard what Madeline Albright said in a recent interview about Hillary? "There's a special place in hell reserved for women who don't support other women." How's that for the ultimate guilt trip?

Somebody needs to inform her that this isn't 1965; progressive and liberal women now vote with their heads, not their vaginas.

Yes, I heard it on NPR on my ride home this evening and it made me think of this conversation.

Also it negates feminism as an ideology promoting equality between the sexes. Voting for a woman because she is a woman and not because of her platform and experience supports feminism as an ideology promoting the concept that women are always better than men by default.

I guess that means there's a special place in hell for women who didn't vote for McCain Palin too

gloria steinem has apparently made remarks to the effect that young women are only supporting bernie to "meet boys"

has nothing to do with hrc being a shit candidate, they're just chasing dick

I saw the interview. She was just joking around with Bill Maher, quoted out of context. She's not good at comedy.

    How is that manipulative?
Voting based on an ideology is all fine and dandy, but you also have to be pragmatic.

No. Voters are not obligated to hold their noses and vote for a corrupt candidate in order to follow an electability calculation.

I'm also not buying the idea that only a major party endorsed candidate can win the presidency.

It seems like it is so because too many people believe it and act on that. Now they would like people like you to join in because it is the pragmatic thing to do. But if everyone like them would listen to and act on what you are saying the opposite would become possible.

As relevant as she was in the 60s--70s, for some reason she's evidently turned old and white saying such foolish things. Crotch politics makes sense as far as equal rights, equal pay, etc. However, a "just because" vote doesn't get it.

Appropriate symbolism: Unisex bathrooms are becoming common. People are less gender-obsessed than ever before.

To put this in terms that Madeline Albright and Bill Clinton could comprehend, Hillary is about to get her vagina handed to her on a platter by the voters of New Hampshire. :D

Bill made a clueless comment yesterday about it being unrealistic to reject politicians just for accepting Wall Street money, because that would exclude too many currently serving politicians. Yes Bill, that's EXACTLY what we want to do! It's time for all those people to go! Wake up, buddy!

NBC has called NH for Bernie...58% to 40% for Clinton. What happened to the last 2%?

Could be candidates that have withdrawn are still on the ballot, or some obscure candidate
