Well I can tell you it'll definitely keep you warm, so you just have to decide if it's worth it. You may as well find an army surplus store first, to see if they have it.
Well, I did a little bit of googling for surplus stuff, but I didn't see a whole lot. I'll keep y eye open for something. I think I'll just wait until the coat gets here. It's supposed to arrive in a few days. Depending on how warm that is, I guess I'll decide whether or not to order the thermals. I'm really bummed about that shipping. After seeing those were only ten bucks, I was going to order five or six sets as Christmas presents, seeing as it's impossible trying to get gifts for people.
My sister lives in Grand Rapids and from here to their it's about an 8 hour drive, depending on how many times you stop. nice to see someone from Micigan I love the snow, but hate how cold it get's, I'm always cold, we have very nice summers, the hottest it gets here is around 87
Yeah, I was just in Grand Rapids a couple weeks ago. It's a really nice town. I thought I remembered it being somewhere along the lines of a seven or eight or drive. Long time in the car. Too long for me. The snow is definitely great (unless you're driving or walking to class, in which case it sucks). I'm always cold too. The summers and falls are definitely class-A though.
yes I love the summers not too hot it is along drive, I was lucky my back held up as long as it did.. my sister seem to like Grand Rapids, she is not living in the city anymore. she never liked it
Yeah the coat may be warm enough that you don't need the thermals. It's ridiculous that the shipping cost is more expensive than the product itself. lol
Yeah. I read a few reviews about the site, and I guess there are a lot of complaints about the condition of the stuff that you're selling. I found another store that sells on e-bay that has them for almost the same price with more reasonable shipping. So I think I'm going to order three or four, so I have two to wear during the times when I don't really want to wear a really heavy coat, and then I'll have two that I can give to my friends as gifts or something.
