Yeah I take lexapro. It sucks. I think I'm gonna stop taking them in 30 weeks, because they make me feel like shit. lol Do you take lexapro?
Did you just start taking them? I've been taking it for almost a year. It made me feel REALLY crappy at first, and I hated it, but now Its been making me feel a lot better.
It makes me feel shitty too, because I've only been taking it for 2 days, but the main reason I don't want to take it is because it's an SSRI(selective seratonin uptake inhibitor), and SSRI's make it impossible for psychedelics to have any effect on you. So if you're taking lexapro, or any other SSRI, it is impossible to trip.
Sure beats his damn product, killing that fresh corps spice. I was very curious my last time in the funny farm, asking why cleaning supplies reminded me of well. .......the CIA.
I never liked Xanax, JC gave me one and it just sucked. It's to sleepy, I liked Quaalude and Klonopin. One lude goes a long way, a half of one is still kicking in from years ago. Sounds like one damn mean plane ride, obviously someone hurt their head.......was it a swinger flight? I can't believe the news half of the time, it's more convincing to see a body rot.
this got me the strangest rep i've ever received. negative rep with the message: Is that the Boeing kid from Culver in your picture, I like Coookie monster he beats the grouch and The big ducks intrigue being stupid about hope and X mas wtf part of that makes sense?
For real? I didn't know that! I'm probably not gonna trip anymore anyway.. but I really don't like Lexapro.
It's true! I don't know if I want to do psychadelics anymoree.. plus, with this Lexapro I can't trip anyway. Edit: By the way Brian, if you are gonna stop taking it, I'd stop soon. I quit taking it for like a week or so once and it gives me these nasty brain zaps. It feels like my brains being zapped by electricity. It sucks
it varies from person to person SSRIs in normal dosages will usually cause significantly decreased effects from seratonergic drugs like LSD, mushrooms, and MDMA. people seem to report the most interference with the effects of MDMA, though it is all anecdotal evidence and not necessarily worthwhile it can range from a slightly decreased effect to elimination of any effects at all. i have a schizophrenic friend who is heavily medicated with antipsychotics and at least one SSRI. clearly he probably shouldnt trip, but he does anyway, and doesnt seem to have any issue with getting effects from mushrooms or acid. he does report significantly decreased sensitivity to ecstacy, though dosage probably has a lot to do with it, as well as personal susceptability
Thanks for that! I was thinking.. I started Lexapro in like.. November last year. And over Christmas break last December I tripped on shrooms with 2 friends, and I did end up tripping. Maybe it was because I just started taking the Lexapro, or maybe it doesn't effect me at all in that way.
I am sure the airline is glad that he used illegal substances so that no matter when he used them they will be able to blame drugs and not the bash on the head caused by them. I was recently refused coverage for medical when I had a seisure after smoking. they piss tested me and then treated me like scum and did not believe I was unconciuos twitching momenents before I arrived. In the next bed was a lady compaining of pain who wanted to refill her oxy's she was treated like royalty and given some state sponsored drugs to take home. I was fired from my job the next day, small town so much for medical privacy the system is run by greedy insurance companies bent on control. The government is running vast experiments on the citizens of this country fall in line all is well question and be killed
i don't know much about lexapro (read as: i don't know shit about lexapro) i only take from context that it is an SSRI. but i wouldnt be surprised if certain SSRIs caused the effect to a greater or lesser extent than others, just as your body's reaction to it and your dosage would likely effect it. also, most SSRIs stick around in the body for a while, and you have to build them up in your system by taking them daily in order to get their effects. if you just started taking them, the effects may not be fully apparent until as much as 3-4 weeks later possibly. i know it takes a couple weeks of paxil or zoloft to start working properly.
It took about 2 months for the effects to fully kick in with Lexapro. And it was hell during that time. The side effects are the worst I've ever seen/had
