Every journey into the bleak land of drug addiction begins with a single step.
No one who deciedes to take a drug the 1st time thinks "yeah i'll take this and come back for more until I'm broke and living in the gutter." They think they'll take it "just once, just to see what it's like."
I know a lot of people who had cocaine problems back in the 80's, me included.
And everyone of them who's still alive does not do it anymore and is very glad that part of their life is past, me included.
Likely you won't end up in the gutter, but there IS a risk.
Ask yourself this: what if it the greatest feeling you've ever had in your life? What if it felt as good as sex? Would you be tempted to try it again?

I knew a guy back in the early 80's who had a business employing 25 people, his & her's Mercedes and an airplane.
He tried cocaine "just once, to see what it's like".
In less that a year it was all gone. Material possessions and his wife and kids as well.

It would have been much better if he had never tried it.

It's normal to be curious, but the vast majority of people I know who've tried cocaine went on to keep using, maybe just a few months, maybe longer.
