I'm a senior in college right now. First two years in computer engineering, last two as English; two universites, was in a frat once so I can give you a few tips. Don't overload your schedule. Better to make good grades in fewer courses than do mediocre with a 19 hour schedule. Make up the extra hours by taking courses in the summer. Don't skip class unless you're sick. It's WAY too easy to let yourself skip class "every now and then." But every now and then turns into missed quizzes, paper assignments, and questions on the tests you are not prepared for. College final exams are HARD. You have more time to play hard, but if you don't learn to manage your time, you won't keep up.
congrats!! college is awesome. living in dorms is really fun and its a good way to meet people. not many of my friends go to the college i'm going too, and i felt the same way you did cause its not easy for me to talk to people either.. but since you live in dorms you'll get to know the people on your floor and the people that live in your building making friends in college is a peice of cake
We live down south, in the middle of nowhere, and we have satellite internet. It really is quite cheap, my family is dirt poor and we have it. And i meant to comment on your last post as well, i think it is fantastic that you wanna be a farmer. It's just so... rare and interesting.
yes i also admire Wonka's aspirations...i would love to be a farmer but i think i'll have to settle for a small plant/tree nursery... you could trade fruit for internet...at the farmers market
ya I hope to do something with psychology/neurology for a living. I still plan on having vegetable and herb gardens, as well as fruit trees.
I'll definitely have to have a garden as well... gardening is one of those weird random things I am good at. I'll have flowers and herbs. What kind of herbs? The world may never know.
