Communism Is A Disease

As far as Rat's opinion of the right-wing, he seems to dislike it just as much as the left; I see that because I feel the same way about the left-right scale.

I wouldn't call anything libertarian right wing. I used to call myself a liberal; I went so far to the left I realized that if you go far enough, you'll end up on the right, which helped me forumlate the opinion that libertarians are neither left nor right, but more of...up, I'd say. So that's why I disagree with anybody that uses the phrase "right wing libertarian."

And Balbus or Pointbreak or whoever is always debating Pressed Rat always says "right-wing libertarian" and it kinda gets to me because it's inaccurate. Right wing is republican, left wing is democrat, libertarians (a combination of left and right) are more of the center if anything.

As far as fascism and socialism, Rat is illustrating how both ways are paths to dictatorships of the rich, which is true. Same result by different means. The "left" and "right" are snares, false revolutions to eachother controlled by the same corporate interests.

THAT right there is where you guys are entirely wrong...you always fail to look outside of the united states and see that the left/right spectrum doesn't always have to be a product of the conspiracy...they are words, useful for analysis (i posted it in another thread)....and this is what rat, but probably not you, refuses to admit. The above are right wing, except for libertarian in some cases. By right-wing libertarian, we mean exactly what we mean....that rat (on the universal left-right scale) has beliefs that can easily be interpreted as right-wing, but highly libertarian (private property rights/ minimum government).

This is why both pointbreak, myself, balbus and many others living in other countries get so fucking sick of rat...because he goes on and on about the wrongfulness of the left/right spectrum but he doesn't EVER see that hes unable to see outside of it himself. Left and right have far different, more rational, and less extreme meanings to people in CAnada/Australia etc.

Anyway, so if those in rat camp built exactly the country they wanted, abolished the left/right paradigm therefore abolishing all conflict...what then? EVERYONE would have the same right wing beliefs right? Thats how you solve it.............now don't think i'm saying i have the evidence to prove rat entirely wrong. But i am skeptical as to why the only beliefs that don't come under his fire, are his own. I don't see how such a black and white reality can exist.

Anyway....as for socialism, i am sick of you guys getting socialism confused with fascism and privatisation which is obviously the reality. IF you want to explain how privatisation, capitalism, fascism and corporate tyrranny can lead to socialism (which is actually the consolidation of wealth by the community and not a wealthy elite) feel free....but as far as i see it makes no sense and you have no right for making that connection..expecially with TRUE socialists.

yeah but did you ever consider that terrorist groups saw the theory of communism as something that actually COULD free the peasents and save the people so they would tell EVERYONE they are communist while acting completely opposite of how they are supposed to, this is a debate about the THEORY of communism and socialism which is very complex and not as simple and you make it out to be, we have seen in the past that dictators take control using communism because they are inherently evil to begin with, but what happens when someone who isn't is able to carry out those theories and make them work? again, i dont really agree with communism but just have an open mind. you say that communism hasn't backed up her claims, but neither have you, you have said that people who believe in communism are iditos and that it is a scientific fact, can you back that up for us pointbreak? this is exactly what im talking about, dont bitch at other people for not backing up sources and then do it yourself.

Small governments of small communities all trading with each other. I dunno really Id have to say I'd rather live in Capitalism than Communism, but still I dunno. I don't think any Governments would really be beneficial to earth. To humanity, I think a caste system is all that could work on a large scale. Other than that just small communities with appointed leaders, nothing Federalized. As for a worldwide caste, one for the dirty work yet these people should be esteemed as the highest. One for the tradesmen and merchants, one for the religious officials and warriors. Then one upper class of religious philosopher hobo kings. Making it a circle. You could only marry in your caste except for the highest class, because they can marry into any caste. Or "bring up any family of good hearted people they see fit" Thus a model for the rest of society. Kinda like a points system, you stay where you are and gain merit points, until a the highest ranking people, choose to elevate your status. Thus eventually on paper bringing all people into a society of Philosopher Kings who lived without wealth only high status and respect. The wealthiest would be those who needed it. The merchants and tradesfolk, including a general populace of buisiness type people meeting todays standards. Its just an idea.

 

Basically separating wealth and status. High status would only be like a social situation, depending more on your merit and personality, and amiability. Take the power out of wealth. Show wealth for what it is, just alot of shit. Give everyone what they need.

 

Libertarianism does not mean anti-immigration, it does not meet anti-free trade, and it does not mean anti-foreign investment. Yet Rat has been all these things at one time or another. He has simply taken over the "libertarian" label and made it mean whatever he wants it to mean.

As Lying in a Field has said here and many others have commented on in these forums over the years in many places the Republicans and the Democrats would BOTH be seen as of as right wing political parties.

Many people in the US base their views on the myth without looking at the political philosophies or examining the ideas and policies that they ‘understand’ as being typical of ‘left’ or ‘right’.

Yes I have called people right wing libertarians, because their views most seem to be along those lines, but Kblaze have you not noticed that while some might claim not to be, none of those has yet being able to refute the claim. Or that some are very persistent in their efforts to evade any debate of their political viewpoint?

I should've given the link in the beginning. This doesn't sound jewish, or monotheistic at all. Its an occult symbol of Demonology, the power of raising and harnessing demons to be your slaves, except they refer to them as Jinn, as do the muslims. So pointbreak I don't think Brodhi would like it much you being dissrespectfull like that. I won't believe anything, Ill beleive anything my heart feels is correct or has ample proof. This one falls under the latter.

i think by usage the term has become pretty ambiguous.
the closest approximation in actual use seems to be anything a self styled so call conservative doesn't like. and at that doesn't like because it isn't what he's already using to line his pockets at everyone else's expense with.

Everybody should have the right to an education, but many people don't reach their full potential due to socio-economic problems caused by Capitalism.

You assume that all communists are authoritarians when infact many of us consider Stalinism a disaster.

 

No, I think that's the problem, people see what communism was in past history, and what it was supposed to be, and frankly neither looks good.

Communism, like many more or less "good" ideologies is just another that has been continually hijacked by bad people. Stalin actually worked to prevent good socialist revolutions in many countries because of his alliance with capitalist governments.

 

Stalin is not a Communist. Stalinism is quite the opposite of Communism. Ask any communist scholar, though we don't have many now.
