completely changed my view about religious people.

    i think that while religion is bull shit your right in that, sometimes people need religion. for instance people in extreme poverty need religion just to keep going and living because they think that since there is a god out there maybe he will save them, either now or when they die. it is sometimes the only thing they have to live for and if they lost it they may loose their will to go on.

    Cool. I like harpsicord in particular. There is some crazy harpsicord on a CD that I like. It's an old soundtrack by John Barry. She reminds me of someone I would see in this magazine that I picked up recently called Gothic Beauty.

    I always thought of religion as a way for people to cope with the fact that their going to die. Everyone knows it but nobody wants it...well some do but the ones who fear death want to believe they'll live forever and religion is the key to believing that.

    Just because it makes some feel better, doesn't make it right. Truth should be the ideal, over feeling better, if we are ever to have a more just and kind society. Telling people what they want to hear, does nothing to make things better, generally it make things worse.
