its prolley not that good but here it is

Dr. Rick Strassman is psychiatrist who was born in Los Angeles, California.Strassmans first succes was graduating from Ulysses S. Grant High School in 1969. He attended Pomona college in Claremont California with an undergrad of zoology, two years before he transferred to Stanford University. He graduated from Stanford with Departmental Honors in Biological Sources. He also graduated from The Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University where he obtained his medical degree in 1977. He took an internship at the University of California and received the Sandoz award in 1981. He began studying dmt after college which he would later write two books on.
Dr Rick Strassman has had two major books. The first book he wrote was DMT The Spirit Molecule which talks about all psychedelic drugs in general, but mostly dmt. The second book he wrote Inner Paths to Outer Space talks mostly how humans have been in contact with alien species through psychedelic drugs. Sacred plants such as peyote, magic mushrooms, and ayahuasca allow access to different realities and contact with the spiritual world. Dr Strassman points out that maybe we have had contact with alien species since the dawn of humanity through certain types of plants that allow people to travel to different realms of consciousness. In order to write these books he had to go to college.
He is a clinical Associate Proffesor in the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He has had break through work with dmt and other psychedelics. Dmt or dimethyltryptamine is a psychedelic drug related to psilocybin and lsd. It is found in the pineal gland of the human brain and in various plants and animals. Many indeigious cultures around the world use dmt as a portal to the spirit world. Dmt can be taken orally, inhaled, snorted, or injected but is most commonly take in an oral form know as ayahuasca. It is the most powerful psychedelic drug known to man.
Dr. Rick Strassman’s work on dmt is the first research done on psychedelics in 20 years that was approved by the federal government. His theory on dmt is that it provides people with a vehicle to experience there life force in its most intense manifestions. Theres seems to be a connection between the 49 days it takes for a person to gain a soul and the fact that it takes 49 days for a human to gain a pineal gland. He has helped shape the study of psychedelic drugs. He believes that psychedelic drugs can be used in assisted therapy, but only In a safe and supportive environment. People can use dmt to help them let go of bad and painful emotions. One girl in his studies said that she was helped by a presence she described as dmt elves that helped her get over trauma and childhood rape. Psychedelic drugs can help bring spiritually healing in certain individuals. The volunteers of Dr. Strassman’s study claimed that their experiences were absolutely real and not fake. One of Strassman’s volunteers encourted terrible insect like beings whose menace seemed to increase the more he fought them off. When he surrened for death they seemed to feed on him and his emotions but this was almost enjoyable for him like he was some how making love with them. He also felt that his dna had been manipulated some how. After the experience the man started having an intrest with shamism and dreams.
The type of research Dr. Rick Strassman used was applied science because he had goals on discovering the true purpose of dmt in the brain and the effects it had on his test subjects. He had around 400 test subjects who he admisterned dmt to. About half of the test subjects reported having meeting being from other worlds and dimensions of time. “ I was devoid of self, thought, time, space, of a sense of seperateness or ego.”p(156) The effects of dmt can be very intense. That’s why if any one is going to take dmt it should be in a safe calm environment with nothing around that could cause stress. Dmt can open up blissful yet horrible realities it has to be handled with care. Dr. Strassman’s main goal is to open up a psychedelic therapy center where he can help people through the use of dmt. The therapy center would be located in a beautiful natural setting possessing art for inspiration. They have centers set up like this in South America for substance abuse that use ayahuasca (a form of dmt) to help people who abuse drugs. Some of the most positive things to come out of the study were a better understanding of dmt and psychedelic drugs in general. One women who was in the study said that dmt made her have a permanent removal of fear of death.

lucjl, that shit is pretty good dude. Do you have to read it in front of your class? If so, I'm sure you'll have their undivided attention and you'll probably make it so quite a few of your classmates will be VERY interested in DMT. haha
