cooking makes me feel really satisfied. The only problem is sometimes I wait til I'm starving to get to food and then I just end up eating ramen. Still great though.
I'm lovingly referred to as Betty Crocker in my family. My mom and mom-in-law say that I'm an even better cook than they are. Now that's a compliment.
if i had a bigger kitchen then the cramped corner the size of a small cardboard box in my apartment i call a kitchen, maybe then i would be able to cook...yeah, ill use that as my excuse, sounds pretty good to me..
i come from a family of athletes, artistic savants, mathematical geniuses. my only claim to fame was that i could read at an early age. that ceases to be impressive round about the 3rd grade. however, my daughter seems to be a natural athlete. i think it just skips a generation sometimes.
I learned all my cooking and love for cooking from my grandparents they were very good cooks.. My grandpa was a chef at a restraunt... my grandma i believe was in the food service industy as well... cant quite remember... i've dont nothing but cooked my whole career thus far... im a very good cook... it seems as if the knowledge of cooking is second nature to me... i grasp concepts easily and understand what goes with what for good flavor combinations... i have not gone to any schools for it yet... i feel that cooks are born and not taught...
