Could God have designed the Bible to only have one interpretation?

Sorry to hear you can't add. [IMG]

That's not just the way I see it, that is the way it is and that allows one to see the need to change when necessary.

Those who see themselves as "perfect", will never see the need to change and thus are doomed to never correct themselves when mistaken.

As for thanking you, why? Your beliefs do not change the reality of needing Jesus' sacrifice to save our lives. [IMG]

The reason that the Bible is open to interpretation is that it is only one peace of a much bigger puzzle. A very important peace yes, but still just one peace. There are many different ways to solve a math problem, think about this 2+2 = 4 3+1 = 4 5-1 = 4 10-6 = 4 and so on. There are literally an infinite amount of formula's that end up as the number 4. The solution to any given formula stays the same, but the formula to any given solution is infinite. The Bible and God's will are no different. If you take God's word (meaning the Bible, Godly visions, "coincidences" in your life, messages from prophets, dreams, ect.) as the formula, and God's will as the solution, then you see, although the formula and it's interpretation can differ, the solution stays the same. That is why God can be found without ever having read the Bible. (Abraham had no Bible to learn from, God came to him and spoke directly, and Abraham wrote down his message.) Remember even though the Bible is God's word, it is written in the language of Man, and read through the eyes of Man. When reading the Bible without God's direct guidance, you are receiving second hand (at best) knowledge from God. You are receiving the WORD of God, and words can be interpreted in many ways. To truly understand God's divine Will, is impossible, since no human being can ever see the universe from God's point of view. No human can even survive seeing God in his divine form, which is why God decided to subject himself to becoming Human. A Human being is created in the image of God, so if you wish to see God, the closest you are going to get is to look in the mirror.

Just thought I'd mention that we have no knowledge of whether Abraham ever wrote down anything, let alone God's message.

In any case, with all the interpretations the big problem is people want to know what they must or must not do, and when they don't like it, they try and shift the truth, as well as certain nitty gritty things.

The main point I see in the bible is this:
Adam and Eve was allowed to live in "the garden of Eden", and lived an immortal life. They had one task, and that was to care for nature. There was only one condition to them staying there. They had free access to all the fruits in the Garden of Eden, except for a the fruit of a single tree, known as the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They disobeyed God because of lies told to them by Lucifer, who promised them power. They further disobeyed God by lying to him about eating of the forbidden fruit. This broke the contract between them and God, and they where banished and they where subject to mortality. Their lineage was also cursed with mortality. Thus "born into sin". This does not seem to mean that their lineage actually committed sin, but where stained by their parents sin. But God had a plan... One loooong story about the world from a Jewish perspective later, God's plan came into action. As a lineage is carried through by a male (for what reason I do not understand, probably something to do with sperm and the fact that a woman can only be pregnant with one man's child, whilst many woman can be pregnant with the same man's children, or something like that. God seems to have a reason for this, as seen further on...) God intercepted a marriage and impregnated a virgin, Mary, thus starting a new, pure lineage, with a new contract. Thus comes Jesus. Jesus lives his life in a fairly pure way. Whilst still human, he is the only human not stained by his lineage. Since God seemed two options at this point, kill off the entire human race except for Christ and a woman of his choice, (which he promised to never do, after the great flood...) or sacrifice Christ, his son, and let any who accept him as their Savior, and become "born again" into him, into his lineage, and thus living under the new contract, where eternal life in a new body made holy is promised. Thus comes the whole thing about the end times and the rest of God's plan. The key point here is Christ is our Savior and if we accept him as such we shall be born again. I have a few theories about how this happens but that is not the point.

There are many more ways one can interpret the Bible but it all comes down to this: We screwed up and broke a contract with God, Jesus came and offered to act as our lawyer, if we accept he will plead our case and God will grant us eternal life.

Obviously you have not read my last post in the thread entitled "THE ORIGIN OF THE CHRIST MYTH," which reveals that the false concept of the immaculate birth of both Mary and her son Jesus, did not originate from the teachings of the Bible, nor from anything taught by the apostles.

So, when, after attempting to translate the teaching of the anti-christ, who refuses to acknowledge that Jesus came as a human being, (and anything that is born of an alien father who did not originate on earth or from the human race, is not human,) you then go on to say, "There are many more ways to interpret the bible," well my friend, there may be many ways to interpret God's word, but the interpretation of the word of the anti-christ, which does not originate in the Bible, such as you have done with your mention of the false doctrine of the virgin birth, is not one of them. Look to the thread, "The Origin of the Christ Myth."

Allow me to give you a veiw of the humanity of Jesus, if, after reading the post below, you are still uncertain of the validity of my statement, that the false teaching of the immaculate conception of both Mary and her son Jesus cannot be found in the Holy Scriptures, I will then present the evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the false teaching, that God has never raised forn the grave and given eternal life to a HUMAN BEING born of the seed of Adam, originated from the word of the antichrist and not from the teachings of the apostles.

Acts 17: 31; For He, (Our Lord God and saviour,) has fixed a day, (The seventh day from the day in which Adam ate of the forbidden fruit and died in that first day at the age of 930, the great Sabbath, the DAY OF THE LORD, the seventh period of one thousand years) in which he will judge the whole world with justice by means of a MAN he has CHOSEN, He has given proof of this to everyone by raising that MAN from death.

The Bible clearly states that Mary was told by an Arch Angel that she will have a Baby, the Christ. Also, a Human Being is created by God, in the image of God, so it is not far fetched to say that God can impregnate a Human woman with a Human fetus which will grow into a Human baby. If you can cite a Biblical scripture that proves that Mary was NOT a Virgin at the time of the Christ's conception, I would love to look into this.
Also, I haven't read all 22 pages of this thread, and I got linked to the thread from the home page of hipforums, I haven't been in in this forum in a long, long time.

I am by no means a Bible expert, and I have never read the whole book from back to front, but I do think I understand the basic concept.

PS, I checked that out, and I am aware of all those theories and similarities, and have been for quite some time, but I understand that although they are similar, they are also worlds apart. It could just as easily be the Christian origins of the pagan myths, if you allow for the possibility that time as it is on earth is different from time in the spiritual world, and if you have ever dreamed, you would know this is the case.

The great grandfather of the biblical Jesus was Yehoshua/Jesus III, who was the high priest in Jerusalem from 36 to 23 BC. The sonless Yehoshua, had three daughter, Joanna, Elizabeth and Anna/Hanna. Knowing that his Zadokian lineage would become extinct unless his daughters were placed with future husbands according to the Torah, Yehoshua married off his daughters as child brides.

Hanna/Anna, as a young child, was betrothed to Alexander Helios (Heli) of Macedonian descent, but through the tribe of Levi, being a descendant of Nathan the priest who was the biological son of Bathsheba and Uriah the Hittite/Macedonian, who became a member of the tribe of Levi by his marriage to Bathsheba the daughter of Ammiel, the son of Oded-edom, who was a descendant of Moses from the house of Levi.

The Talmud states, "Whoever brings up an orphan (or Stepchild) in his home, that child is regarded as though the child had been born of him." (Sanhedrin 119b).

This means that Heli, the grandfather of Jesus was a legitimate heir to the throne of David, through Nathan the stepson of David. Heli, who died in 13 BC, by order of Herod the Great because he was seen as a threat to the throne of Judah, had previously sired a son, who we know by the name “Joseph the Levite from Cyprus,” and Heli was to later sire the child Mary to Hanna the daughter of the high priest Yehoshua III.

Yehoshua, the great grandfather of Jesus is said to have died 3 years before Mary the daughter of “Hanna and Heli” was born. If it was his death that ended his period as high priest in Jerusalem in the year of 23 BC, this would mean that Mary was born in 20 BC, and was 7 years old when her father Heli died in 13 BC, and 14 to 15 years old when she gave birth to Jesus, who was born in 6 or 5 BC. This would make Mary who married Cleophas/Alpheaus, the father of James the younger of Mary’s three biological sons, about 47 years old when Jesus, the first of her three biological sons was crucified.

Simeon, the stepbrother of Jesus, who succeeded James the brother of the Lord to the Episcopal throne of the church of the circumcision in Jerusalem, was the son of Cleophas to a previous marriage, as was Judas the son of Alpheaus, the other stepbrother of Jesus. Cleophas and Alpheaus, which both names mean, “Of a renown father,” are one and the same person. Cleophas the male abbreviation of the female Cleopatra, a Macedonian name, is the Greek, for “Of a renown father,” and Alpheaus, the biological father of James the younger of Mary’s three sons and the brother of the Lord, is the Aramic of the same meaning, “Of a renown father.”

Joanna, as a child, was betrothed to Joachim from the genetic lineage of David. Little is known of Joanna or Joachim, who is believe to be of the cursed line of Jehioachin. The universal church of Constantine, claims that Joachim was the husband of Hanna, yet not the father of Mary, but the teachings of the universal church as we shall later see, are so far removed from the revelations of scripture as to be rejected by any who are searching for the truth that is revealed through the stories recorded in the bible.

The fact that the Universal church implies that Joachim is the grandfather of Jesus, simply does not gel with the bible, which states that “Heli” is the grandfather of Jesus the promised high priest and King in the line of succession to Melchizedek.

The second daughter of Yehoshua III, was Elizabeth, the older sister to Hanna and aunty to Mary. As a child Elizabeth was betrothed to a young Levite priest by the name Zacharias of the priestly course of Abijah.

Young’s Analytical Concordance to the Bible, gives the meaning of the Hebrew word “Almah,” which is used in Isaiah 7: 14; as, (Concealment: Unmarried woman.) When the 14 year old "parthenos" Mary, the obedient handmaid to her indwelling spirit, who had told the angel three months earlier, before the time that she was found to be pregnant, that she, at that time, had never known a man sexually, which implied that the young "parthenos=unmarried female," was at that time still a virgin; then, after being told of the pregnancy of her aged Aunty Elizabeth, she went from her home town of Nazareth to a small town near Jerusalem to join with many other members of the family of “Elizabeth the aunty of Mary,” who were both of the daughters of Levi.

Apparently, unbeknown to either of the parents of Jesus that they had a common father, (Heli,) it was there at the gathering of many of the family and friends of Elizabeth, that she must have met for the first time and was spiritually attracted to the biological father of Jesus, Joseph the Levite son of Heli, who had come from Cyprus. The act of obedience from which the child of God’s promise was conceived in the womb of the “Almah,” unmarried woman, was concealed in the shadow beneath the wings of the Lord of spirits.

Isaac is a prototype of Jesus and like Jesus was born of God’s promise according to the workings of the Holy Spirit. Both are seen as the seed that was promised to Abraham. Both Isaac and Jesus were the sons of parents who were both sired by the one Father.

‘Terah,’ is the father to both Abraham and Sarah by different mothers, while ‘Heli,’ is the father of both Joseph and Mary, also by different mothers. Both Mary and Sarah were informed by an angel that they would become Pregnant and bear the son of God's promise. Isaac was offered up as a sacrifice by his physical father, Jesus was offered up by his spiritual father, who descended upon him in the form of a dove as the voice was heard to say, ‘ you are my beloved in whom I am well pleased, today I have become your Father.” See the more ancient authorities of Luke 3: 22; and Isaac was offered up on the same mountain at the very spot where Jesus was crucified.

In Luke 3: 22; (In place of “Thou art my beloved son in who I am well pleased.”) The following authorities of the second, third, and fourth centuries read, “This day I have begotten thee,” vouched for by Codex D, and the most ancient copies of the old latin (a, b. c. ff.I), by Justin Martyr (AD 140), Clemens Alex, (AD. 190), Methodius (AD. 290), among the Greeks. And among the Latins, Lactaitius (AD 300), Hilary (AD) Juvencus (AD. 330), Faustus (AD. 400) and Augustine. All these oldest manuscripts were changed completely. They now read, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.” Wherea the original variant was, “Thou art my Son. This day I have begotten thee.”

This Joseph the Levite who is the descendant of Nathan, and who came from Cyprus, was surnamed "Barnabas," and he had a half sister by the name Mary, who was the adopted mother of John, who Jesus had surnamed “Son of Thunder,” and who is identified with the young John who was surnamed “Mark,” which means ‘Hammer,’ or “The Hammerer.” After the death of Jesus, this Joseph the Levite, took his half sister Mary, and young John up north into the land of Pamphylia, where today, in the town of Ephesus, the grave sites of Mary and John can still be visited.

Jesus was born of the flesh in the same way the every human being is born, but Jesus was the first fruits to be harvested from the body of mankind, the first of many brothers, who are soon to follow him, and they will be born "Sons Of God" as was Jesus, who was not born the first of many "Sons of God," by blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but by the spirit, which descended upon him in the form of a dove, as he rose from the batismal waters and the heavenly voice was heard to say, "You are my beloved in whom I am pleased. THIS DAY I have begotten thee."

I tried Fred. If only it were as simple as my not being able to add up!
Is there anything incomprehensible about this really? I'll break what you believe down, FTSOA. God wants the bible to be understood one way. Yet he also wishes for us to endeavour to make that understanding our very own. Where I don't add up is that it would mean becoming and being God, which is what you can't add up. It's very easy for me to subtract god from all this, but for you to do so would be incomprehensible. : D

No it doesn't, it introduces a moralistic persecution into the equation, which serves to prevent apprehending the full extent of errors in thought by which means we might overcome them.

It is a grave error of understanding that has you believe that there is "sin" in birth.

Anyone who could see themselves as perfect would not see the need to change, but they'd want to. In feeling perfection, we want to realize it even in what we are not. The desire to create ourselves runs deeper than has ever been conceived by the religious! lol

That you think anothers death has saved, or has the capacity to save your life is a problem that I cannot address in words alone. You might thank me at the very least for the attempt! : D

Yes, the only 'real' errors of understanding are in the lack of it.

[The Center wrote]....I am by no means a Bible expert, and I have never read the whole book from back to front, but I do think I understand the basic concept.

You may understand the basic concept of the teaching of the anti-christ as taught by the universal church of Constantine, and the daughter bodies that have been spawned by the spirit within her. But it is obvious that you have no clue as to the truth revealed in the Holy word of God.

[The Center wrote]....I am by no means a Bible expert, and I have never read the whole book from back to front.

Which becomes obvious to a blind man, who has heard what you have to say.

[The Center wrote]....The Bible clearly states that Mary was told by an Arch Angel that she will have a Baby, the Christ.

The bible clearly states that Sarah, the sister wife to Abraham, was told by an angel that she would become pregnant and bear the child of God's promise.

An angel also told Mary the half sister to Joseph the son of the grandfather of Jesus, whose name was "Heli," from the tribe of Levi, that she would become pregnant and give birth to a son and she was to name him Jesus, and he would be called the Son of the most high, which he was, after he, who had been born of the flesh as are all human beings, was born as the first of many Sons of God, not by blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but of the spirit that descended upon him in the form of a dove, as the voice was heard to say, you are my beloved in whom I am pleased. THIS DAY, I have begotten thee."

At the time that the angel appeared to Mary, she was still a virgin, but that was three months before she was found to be pregnant with the son of Joseph the Levite, who was the son of Heli, the father of Mary.

[The Center wrote]....Also, a Human Being is created by God, in the image of God,

Yes, but it took him nearly 14 billion year, of gathering information after the Big Bang to create the first human being, from the information that had been gathered from all the ancestors of the first man, even the information gained from the formation of the very first organic molecule, that was created in the primeval pools of inorganic material, from which the body of mankind has evolved/created.

Then it still takes him 9 months to reproduce another human being from the living male semen that is introduced into the uterus of a woman where it dies in the massive dormant female egg, giving life to the certain genetic characteristics from which the child of that union is created.

[The Center wrote]....so it is not far fetched to say that God can impregnate a Human woman with a Human fetus which will grow into a Human baby.

Ah! But it is far fetched to say that God can impregnate a Human woman with a Human fetus, which will grow into a Human baby.

Anything that is sired by an alien life form that is not human and did not originate on earth, is not a human being, but a Hybid, and of course there have been many of them, who have been born of mortal women, who were inpregnated by some heaveny God, Thor the Hammer welding hybrid, and the Jesus as taught by the church of Constantine are just two of many, many, hybrid half god and half humans, but they are merely the imaginations of men and have nothing to do with the salvation of mankind.

1st letter of John 4:1-3; “My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the spirit, (My words are spirit) but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from God. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere. This is how you will be able to know if it is Gods spirit/word: anyone who acknowledges that Jesus came as a human being has the spirit who comes from God. But anyone who denies this about Jesus does not have the spirit from God. The spirit that he has is from the enemy of the anointed one, the Anti-christ etc.”

2nd letter of John verses 7-10;.“Many deceivers have gone out all over the world, people who do not acknowledge that Jesus came as a human being. Such a person is a deceiver and an enemy of Christ.”

They try to justify their rejection of the truth of God's word by inventing the unbiblical yarn of some supposed god who entered the womb of some woman who remained a virgin after the act by which she had conceived the child in her womb. But you will find no biblical evidence to support their false invention.

If Jesus was not born of the flesh as all human beings are, but was born of a virgin without the male semen having been introduced into her uterus, then this would have been the greatest of all miracles, and would have been shouted from the roof tops by all four gospel writers and yet we see that Mark and John ignore the physical birth of Jesus as being totally irrelevant to the story of salvation and begin their account of He, who was sent "IN THE NAME OF THE LORD", with the Baptism of the man Jesus, when he was born of the spirit of our Lord God and saviour, and the heavenly voice was heard to say, “You are my beloved in whom I am well pleased, Today I have become your father, or this day I have begotten thee,” See the more ancient authorities of Luke 3: 23; before it was changed by those deceivers who refuse to acknowledge that Jesus came as a human being and refuse to acknowledge that he was born the physical birth as all men are.

They now read, “This is my son in whom I am well pleased.” Whereas the original variant was, “Thou art my Son. This day I have begotten thee.”

Matthew merely translates the words of Isaiah 7: 14, “A young woman who is pregnant will bear a son, etc:" and Luke simply reveals that the young 14 year old "parthenos" Mary, implied that she was still a virgin three months before she was found to be with child, which was born according to the working of the Holy Spirit. As was Isaac, the promised seed of Abraham, who was born of his half sister, Sarah.

I have floated in the world of dreams and unrealities, where I have been attacked by unimaginable monsters and defeated them, and have made love to the most beautiful women on earth. But then I have awoken once more into the world of reality, and I agree with you that the truth as revealed in the word of God and the pagan myths from which the beliefs of Constantine's universal church were formulated, are worlds apart.

But we do know that Abraham was no mug shepheard, who didn't know from nothing. His father Terah was the High Priest in the land of Ur, and the Temple was full of idols which represented the different planets which were worshiped as gods. Abraham's contribution to his society was that he would study the heavens and advise the communty, when to sow, and when to Harvest etc.

In studying the heavens, Abraham learned that the planets were lifeless bodies that followed set courses, and although their movement across the heaven caused certain influences on the earth, those influences were not consciounce acts of the planets, but could be explained by the laws that governed their movements.

The people would plough their fields, followed by the sowers who scattered the seed by hand, which seed was devoured by the birds that followed the sowers. Believing that they were all animals and brothers in the creation, they would not chase the birds away. So Abraham invented a plough with a vessel on the handle which contained the seed that was dropped into the furrow behind the plough, which seed was covered by the foot of the man working the plough.

Abraham was incensed with his father for worshiping dumb idols, and he said to his father Terah, "What help and profit have we from those idols which thou dost worship, and before which thou dost bow thyself?

For there is no spirit in them, for they are dumb forms, and a misleading of the heart. "Worship them not:" Worship the God of the heaven, who causes the rain and the dew to descend upon the earth, and has created everything by his word, and all life is before his face.

Why do you worship things that have no spirit in them? For they are the work of (Mens) hands, and on your shoulders do ye bear them, But they are a great cause of shame to those who make them, and a misleading of the heart to those who worship them. Worship them Not.

And his father said to him, "I also know it my son, but what shall I do with a people who have made me to serve before them? And if I tell them the truth they will slay me; for their soul cleaves to them to worship them and honour them. Keep silent my son, least they slay thee."

Each evening the people would set out food in the temple for their gods, which food would be taken by the priests and their families. One night Abraham sneaked into the temple and taking the hammer out of the hands of the human like god, he smashed all the other idods. Next morning when answers were being demanded, Abraham said that he saw them fighting over the food and the big fellow with the hammer really gave it to the other lot.

And not one person had the guts to say, "Bull sh-t" we know they can't move." Much the same as the people today haven't got the guts to say to the religious authorities, "Bullsh-t, everyone knows that a human being can not develop in the womb of a virgin without the introduction of human semen into her uterus.

Later Abraham was to set fire to the temple of Idols and his brother Haran, the father of Lot, died attempting to save his precious gods, and it was then that Terah was forced to take his family and move up into the land that is today Turkey, where they lived in a settlement that Abraham named after his deceased son "Haran."

Abraham, who was born when Terah was 70, left the town of Haran and moved over into the land of his legal inheritance, "Canaan" when he was 75, leaving his 145 year old father "Terah" with his younger brother "Nahor, where Terah died 60 years later at the age of 205.

Origin of Jesus aside, all I care about is the fact that Jesus came to save me, and he WAS human. Regardless of weather Mary was impregnated by her husband, an extra marital affair, by artificial insemination through divine means, or through wind pollination, that IS NOT THE POINT. The point is he came, and he saved me, and he was human.

Then you have found the pathway to salvation, and I welcome you to join the many who are just begining, (by the rising Light of the Great Sabbath,) to see that pathway that leads to eternal life.

By the way, artificial insemination of a vigin would still require the semen of a male member of the human race, and the donor of the semen, would be the biological father of the human child, who would be born of the seed of Adam.

1st Peter 1: 20; "He had been chosen (As were all his brothers) by God before the creation of the world and was revealed in these last days for your sake. Though him you believe in the Lord God our saviour, who raised him from death and gave him glory; and so your faith and HOPE are fixed on God."

1st Timothy 1: 1; From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by order of "GOD OUR SAVIOUR," and Christ Jesus "OUR HOPE."

1st Peter 3: 18; He was put to death physically, but made alive spiritually and he descended (Through Time) and Preached the good news also, to those who were disobedient in the days when Noah was building the boat.

From the book of 'Enoch the Prophet' CVI: 1-6, "Methusulah took a wife for his son Lamech, (The physical Father of the giant Noah) and she became pregnant by him and bore a son and his body was as white as snow and as red as the blooming of a rose, and the hair on his head and his long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful, and when he opened his eyes, he lighted up the whole house like the sun, and the whole house was very bright.

And there upon he (Jesus) arose in the hands of the midwife, opened his mouth, and conversed with the Lord of righteousness (Enoch Who had succeeded Adam to the throne of Godhead within the body of the Most High in the creation, "Mankind.") And his father Lamech was afraid of him, (Just as Eve was terrified when she first saw Cain the shinning one and thought to kill him) and lamech fled and ran to his father Methusulah.

And he said to him: "I have begotten a strange son, diverse from and unlike man, and resembling the Son's of the God of heaven; and his nature is different, and he is not like us, and his eyes are as the rays of the sun, and his countenance is glorious. And it seems that he is not sprung from me, but from the angels. And I fear that in his days, a wonder may be wrought on the earth.

Jesus, the chosen heir to the throne of Godhead, who succeeds the first Melchizedek (Enoch), who, clothed and girded with fire, serves God before the body of Adam/Mankind into all eternity, now dwells behind the veil to the inner most sanctuary of his temporary tent/tabernacle, which is your body and mine and all of those who are descended from Noah/Jesus.
