there's no reason to assume gender has anything to do with intillectual capacity, or even intestinal fortitude. and it isn't brain size as such, but digree of convolutedness. of course more brain mass provides more ROOM for more convolutions, but that doesn't put them there!

as for the other bit of conjecture, well possibility doesn't equal probability, but it still is what it is.

there's nothing inherently inevitable about a species having exactly two genders either. just because it is what we see most commonly in what are called higher life forms, doesn't mean anything other then that is what we happen to see here on this earth. possibly having been favored by conditions which exist or have existed here, but no guarantee that such conditions, whatever they may be or happen to have been, prevail on other worlds that harbour life.

In answer to your scenario, does it matter? People are people. And you say theres sperm...so baby boys shall follow, so therd be a small percentage of men. But it really doesnt matter. I think gender differences are pretty hyped up. Although the only thing i will say is ive noticed groups of women can get into this horrible bitchiness habit, which i havent seen in groups of only men. Thats about all. Lots of differences come from what we witness and are told growing up and even now

Im guessing the most power hungry type women would come to the front to "rule", anyway, so nothing changed

i didn't even look at the question of anything needing to be 'rueled'. and i'm also of the persuasion that NOTHING NEEDS to be. things like infrastructure requiring group effort of course need some sort of coordination, but designated hierarchies arn't the only, or even always best, ways of achieving this.

if there were no men around then there would be no point in the sexual degradation of women that bombards us in everyday life. women would have nothing to hate each other about. there would be no competition. woman is woman's worst enemy. we let men think they are king of the castle all the time. their inferior brains need such ego boosting to function properly. the only women that get ahead in this male dominated society are the ones that have huge balls and are practically men in disguise.

men are more dominated by their primitive emotions than women which is why I think women are more advanced.

 

I read somewhere that Ted Turner the CNN founder wanted women to run his charities on the grounds that he thought men had ruled the world and caused wars and starvation.

The thing is tho , our current society is the result of feudalism , religious zealousness , materialism and other things.It isnt strictly a result of "men v women".
Some of the most odious leaders u'll ever find were women - Margaret Thatcher ,Condoleza Rice etc etc.

I actually think a lot of negative male charecteristics are partly the result of female infuences.( "You must be a man.Stand up and fight , dont act like a girl , go out and bring me money for nice handbags and abetter car than the neighbours etc" - ok I generalise a bit_)
For instance , I know a guy whos a real arrogant knob , whos now obsessed with money.What amused me was that I found out he was a virgin til 25 - so I think the root cause of his insecurity and twattishness was how he felt women viewed him.

With women in charge , I think thered be less outright confrontation , but prob more snideyness and simmering bitterness between leaders.

I could agree with something like this. Ive read somewhere that women use their brain more efficiently than men.

I dunno though, I also think all this gender separation and competition is pretty dumb and pointless. We compliment each other naturally. And if more people would realize that instead of thinking in terms of control, I bet this world would be a lot better.

Nobody should rule the world, man or woman.
