merry solstice. hannicha is already here. solstice comes next. granted most people don't notice or make as big of a deal about it, but it is the henge of winter as i count seasons,
and the day that the relationship between daylight and starlight starts shifting back toward daytime and eventually getting warmer.

i usually prefer, or used to, to endure cold more then heat, but my old bones are getting old.
