craft exchange thread!

hey, wanderin_blues, i would love to make a trade with you. i just want to get my current projects sent out before i take on anymore. do you have pictures of the sandals?!

 

i really like this idea^^.

i make didgeridoos, ya know the australian instrument. i make them out of bamboo when i can, but lately i've been experimenting with PVC pipe. i'll try to take a few photos of ones i have right now, but i'm about to start working on another PVC one, so i'll have that one ready.

i would kind of like to trade for a dread tam if i could. i'm going to buy one from Caelynn, which i still want to do. but i don't have any other way of getting hats easily and cheap, so i would like to have a couple different hats^^.

i made them like that for my grad. i could also do them like more of a solid triangle without going under the foot.

theyre nothing fancy, but they look quite nice when in use and the suede finger loops feel wonderful. they are stuffed with rice (it can be sand or whatever you prefer in terms of weight) and there are little loops on the ends through which you can thread streamers of your choice (i have green silk in those ones, ill put something nice like that on them in a matching colour.) ill have to check for color options, but i definitly have black, brown, purple and probably green and orange, maybe blue, maybe yellow. i have to buy more thong for the string part and im not sure what colours it comes in, could just be brown.
the leather is recycled from old jackets and the like.

please excuse the coffee stain in the last pic, i only just noticed that lol.
i prefer to either knit the whole thing like the first one, or knit the tube part and crochet the finger part like the second and third ones. i can also do these as fingerless gloves with just a thumbhole (that would probably be all crochet). they can be longer or shorter too. i have most colours and these are made in wool, but i can use acrylic too if youre vegan or something. or cotton i guess but i have to buy that new. most of my stuff is made with recycled materials.

heres something i forgot i could make. they kick ass at holding dreads back and always look great. again, recyled material.

okay, so here's the deal.

some jerkoff stole my crochet bag out of my car when i was at work. therefore, i need to go to the store and get more hooks and yarn before i can finish projects and send stuff out. i should be able to go on tuesday. i'm sorry for crochet projects not going out on monday like i anticipated.

 

aw that sucks, but dont worry the karma fairies will get em

just waiting for the lady to finish making the backing mounts for me and i should be able to post asap after that!
i am fixing the prints to a rigid foam backing, so if you want to you can hang em straight on your wall, or have them framed, whichever you prefer. personally i like them unframed

 

is there anyone else who would like to trade for a photo? i dont mind what for, i like stuff... any stuff that has been made for me is special.
