ya know those african sorta cone shaped hats? one like that but with a hole in the center so could put my dreads thru it & theyd hang over the cone & it would keep em mostly off my neck & shoulders so wont be so hot
been lookin for 1 but never ever seen 1

hey this isnt a bad idea, I do some photography myself, once I scan a few photos I can trade some prints. I'm also a welder, if you want me to make something crazy that I can send through the mail or have you pick up I can do that, I mostly make bikes. TALL BIKES!

i got a package from sarah (lunatic_on_the_grass)! wooooo!

i got an awesome hemp necklace decorated with pink and green clay beads. i love it.

i also got three rockin' clay dread beads. one is small and black and yellow in a swirly pattern. the other is a sleeve in a sparkly grey and burgundy swirly pattern. the last (my favorite) is a burgundy sleeve with a vine of grey flowers. they are so beautiful and they give me much joy.

i've had a good degree of success with this thead in the knotty know-how forum, and i thought i'd bring it over here since i'm all caught up on my crafting over there.

this thread is for telling people what kind of crafts you make and seeing if it sparks any interest in anyone else for an exchange. you can post things you'd like to receive, and see if anyone around can make them. you can post what you know how to do and see if anyone's got something to barter with you.

i'll start! i can make a variety of crocheted items: hats, headbands, iPod cases, purses... you name it, i'll try it. i also make collages, hemp jewelry, polymer clay beads, and anything else i can get my hands on. i'm about to start up some sewing projects, but i'm not proficient in any of that yet, so i don't want to promise it away without knowing the results will be good!

anyone interested in making a trade?

 

Oh this sounds like fun! I make groovy pendants, envelopes, office supply sets (push pins etc.), ATC/ACEO cards, and the list is growing every day. My little sister makes hemp necklaces, and wire names with glow in the black light paint on them.
