I'm open to discussing anything in this forum. Truely anything. But... as was recently highlighted in a thread started on euthanasia, heated debates will quickly develop when such 'difficult' subjects are tackled. These subjects illicit personal judgements based on moral standpoints and muck slinging often follows. Now thats fine if thats what you want to "unwind at the end of the day" reading and contributing to, but it doesn't make for a peaceful, harmonious place. If people here can get passionate and aggravated over discussing the use of dread wax, just think how its gonna get if we all start discussing eating meat or abortions. As OzzyDread rightly points out: this forum is for the dreadlock-loving community. Its a bunch of oddbods from diverse locations around the world brought together by a common interest. It would be a shame to start driving wedges by making the forum and extention of Speaker's Corner. By all means, go for it folks. Discuss whatever thorny issues you like. But I myself will be avoiding such threads cos if I want to get wound up and argumentative about something I'll take myself off to Tesco's and harrangue the manager about the excessive use of plastic wrappings on his vegetables or something. If I want to discuss the bird's nest of loveliness on my head, I'll come here. Peace.
hehe i got lil heatted un that debate, but had a lil talk with the 1 that started it. i think every1 knew ppl were just passionatlty trying to make a point. it was a serius subject thats often taken too lightlyy haz for instance i made a comment towards him that was very strongly worded, but i know he never felt it was threattening just dramatized to prove a point. but the thing is alotta us are passionate ppl pashionate biut differing things its easy to let those pashions (thats passions isnt it?yea that looks right im tired) lol just realized i spelled it both ways in ewvery sentence..lol oh yea passions its easy to let those passions flare now and then. but its a good thing to be passionate and even stand up for what ya believe in theres nothing wrong with that its when ppl have nothing to argue about but instead sink to the level of lies and attacks thats when it really gets pathetic..high school crap ya know really thought that bully mentality disapeasred after highschool. i guess for some ppl things never change. we should have a bully eachother thread just for fun..i'll start..amy has cooties heeheehee (then i should pull her dreads right?) silliness oh yea i was going to bed 2 hours ago gnight again..hugs

An innocent compliment can turn into a big bag of bullshit (is this my new word or what!) Just saying! This is not the first time I have heard of you being accused of this. I am sooo out of the loop. I missed it all too... forum was dead last night and I come in and all sorts of stuff went down. But seriously, once I see something getting out of hand, I usually get bored and stop going back to read up in that thread. I've dealt with enough drama growing up with two sisters, I don't need any added on top of what I got.

these accusations have all come from 1 of 3 sources 2 of which just jumped on the bandwagon when the other 1 kicked it off irs all bassed on nothing at all its pretty mudch all 1 guy with a grudge and 2 others who are just assholes incapable of being anything but assholes or at least thats what it seems like to me ozzy..were u able to find out who he was yet? i know if ya do an ip comparison its 1 of those same ol troublemakers i told ya bout callie i'll explain where this all started. years ago we hasd a pure psycho (wont mention his name or he might show up) who plagued the forums. hed send pm's to like 100 girls a day insistimng they had to be his wife and have his child, then if they laughed or refused, hed blow up claiming they were whores who fucked demons.. he was a wannabe cult leader real freak.. posted pics of himself in dresses and diapers. one day a young girl posted pictures of her "true love" she was 18 he was 38..and it was this freak. (the tgread with the true love pic was actualy posted by him on her account) i posted links in the thread to 2 threads about all his psyucho abusivce pm's to hundreds of girls (practicly every girl on the forum at the time) when he saw i posted that all hell broke llose. his ex came out of hidding begging me to help this girl who i never knew several other girls who were in hidding also begged me to help so i did he hasd her on lockldown at this point standing over her shoulder only lertting her read what he allowed then making her post what he said, or else hed just do it as her. these same troyblemakers that are making trouble today went on the attack just because i was trying to help tthis girl escape who id never spoken to once in my life. they did all they could to prevent any help in fact. tried making me lookm like i was trying to steal this girl from him out of jealousy or some bullshit it took months..and i got repeatted death threats from several ppl in his vcult (or him pretending to be several ppl) he came back on here under dozens of names to try luring other girls and i was always 1st to call him out and expose him sop yeathere was alotta drama and alotta rumors being thrown around (this psyvcho concidered a belly button to be the same as a vagina so since i had something about belly buttons (old rainbow joke) in my profile he claimed i was a rapist..after all if u mention look at or like belly buttons your a rapist (and i was also king of the demons too) anyway, that girls still here,, we were freinds..good freinds awhile but she went into hidding and sorta vannished but shes till on the forums hidden.. so is several other of his victims in hidding. but thats all just part of the story the relevant parts is these 3-5 assholes take things like this, helping someone young escape a major freak and twist it all around durring that whole time, (in random thoughts) alotta ppl got all pissed because there was something serous being talked about and it distracted them from theyre talks about boobs.. literaly a girls lifes maybe not in danger of dying but her freedoms restricted, her mind being warped (he used megadoses of shrooms along with psycho religios craop as mind ciontrol till they believedhey truly were demonicwhores and only he could save them..he thinksd he is god) so in the face iof this type torture and trying to save this girl ppl were most upset because noone wastalking about or showing boobs.. thats the mentality around here sometimes and ya get attacked when u take ppl seriously, take ppl's issues seriously and care enough to try to help. the same ppl attacked when i tried helping prevent suicides..tried helping anorexics start to eat again..u name it they attack whenever thinfs move out of the realm of mindless entertainment and become too serius. dont believe me? justtry oposting a serius topifc in random thoughts even if its about your mom dying you'll get nothing but sarcasm stupidsity attacks and abuses but if u post about your boobs itching they'll love you the mentslity of thre forums in general can be pretty low noit everyone or everywhere, theres alotta great ppl here..but theres those few who really use it as a playground top act stupid bully eachother and get mindless entertainment no matter who they trample..after all they dont believe that anyone on heres a real person..just wordss on a screen so it dont matter what they say. barefootinafieldofflowers who posts hers been a freind for years..a real life freind wed takk on the phone alot for hours and hang out at drum circles alot other of my freinds will also tell ya pretty much the same she would..the worse thibg i ever sdo is be nice to em..lol well..no i also be the best freind i can be even if that means being extremely blunt and direct when asked for advice i say it like it is..even if its not what they wanna headr buit is what they need to hear i say it strongly to get the point across sometimes it shocks them into realizing things they werent ready to face.. so yea even my close freinds say i can be an ass sometimes but with a purpose and its 1 of the things they value most several of my freinds that bluntness has saved theyre lives repeattedly so im nit about to apologize for caring enough to risk a freindship to save a freind.. but anyway..tired of talking biout this stupidity..gonna go wash my dreads

Tricky subject, but I got to ask, SE... Before I found this forum, I had a read around on the Knotty Locks forum. To cut it short, I found several of the mods there to be arrogant, unhelpful tossers and quickly left. But while I was there, I was hunting through some of their picture archives of dreads that members had posted and saw a pic of you (didn't know who you were at the time cos I hadn't found this forum at that time). The comment that followed this pic from a certain mod, was that the guy (meaning you) was a paedophile, but admittedly had nice dreads. Is the situation you just the descibed the source of that crap?
