EDIT: It should be and is noted that this song is by the band Yes. They are cool, or were. I don't know what became of them. I'm not even exactly sure when they or if they were popular. I heard about them in 1998 or something; this kid Neil or someone like Neil listened to them. Anywho… A unique sound to be sure.

 

I saw them live probably around 98-ish. They are good, I'm pretty sure the singer has dabbled in LSD 1 or 2-00 times. His speeches to the crowd between some songs were really hippyish.

The songs you posted from are on one of my favorite albums by them. This song is from their most well known album I believe, released a few years later around 1973-ish

I think they went through various personell changes since then and some of the members might work with other bands as well.

 

I have "Roundabout" on iTunes, or could load it. It's on my amazon music anyway. Yeah, I think he was/is a tripper.

 

I just checked wiki on Yes, Fragile was released the same year as The Yes album, the songs you posted from, in 1971. Damn bands were prolific in releasing records back then. I got the other one's release correct though.

So 71 and 83 good years for them.

 

Here's a song from a band that feature Yes' original guitarist. I've heard this song plenty, I didn't know the band tho.

 

I'm not typically into indie rock. But the sound of this band is so in touch with where I'm at right now that I can't stop listening...

 

I've recently only just discovered this song, I'm playing it on repeat more and more now, I really love it. Its from 1989/90 lol
