  3. I'm listening to them on my web radio station. A large part of my collection is there.

Of course, I remember when the B-52s were new!

  7. I plan to see Kraftwerk in Atlanta. They are supposed to be here in July. I play a lot of them as well.

You know what's really interesting? Electronic music. I took a class and it has evolved from their work and others... But it's interesting to see people plugging those cables into their Moog or whatever it is Kraftwerk specialized in. It's not only interesting, but also I like the music. Old electronic is an interesting genre in and of itself. I was just listening to some old Banco de Gaia, but now it's this! :)

  9. Exactly. Kraftwerk was "techno" before it was a term. If you are really interested in analog electronic music, check out Isao Tomita. His thing was putting classical music through the envelop generators and VCOs.

I know they influenced a ton of EDM I like but I haven't really got into Kraftwerk much.

Here is a 60's band that definitely has a techno feel. I'm not sure if they are directly influenced by them, but The Chemical Brothers have some songs with components that have a similar type of feel.
